Another beer thread
I have only seen it in 6 packs and single bottles, never a 12 pack. It's around 10 bucks for a sixer.

I manage a store on the side and yes there are huge problems getting Lowenbrau, Stella, St. Pauli and a few others. Companies like Anheuser Busch and others are buying up these companies in Europe and then limiting what they send into the country. We have not got Lowenbrau in months, are lucky to get 3 cases of St. Pauli a week, and have been living off the 100 cases of Stella we got in August. This is what the distributor has told me, don't know if there is any truth to it. : How do you like the Stella? It's everywhere where I live, but I can't see myself spending that much on beer...

Springsteen's "Born in the USA"
One of the best songs by him IMO. He really took a risk producing that and it paid off. That Springsteen song is really meaningful, but I'm not a big fan of his.

I prefer Coors. The only import I've had is Molson Canadian and I was pretty impressed.

Braid or Floro?
Straight braid unless you think the fish get spooked by it.

Caught as decent fish today
Great fish and beautiful dog.

Worm fishing during the pre spawn?
Worm fishing can be great during the pre spawn. Smaller worms have worked really well for me, specifically the Berkley Powerbait Original Worm (I think that's what it's called). It seems that you don't have to work plastics as slow, which is why I like fishing them during the spring.

Rounds in the home
Not counting .22 rounds (I have like 1,000 of them), I only have maybe 200 for my shotgun and pistols.

Handguns
There are rifles that shoot pistol ammo, so that's not true. Yes, it is true. You have to be 21 to purchase pistol ammo. Jack, I have the PT145 and my wife carries the PT140 (hers has the stainless slide). I love my Taurus pistols, wouldnt trust my life with one if I wasn't confident with it. I also just put a Ruger GP100 on lay away at work. Will be picking it up in a week. So your telling me that you have to be 21 to buy .22 rounds? They make rifles and pistols in .22 caliber and I have bought .22 ammo many times. I'm not saying it's the same with all ammo, but there are some that you can buy. Anyways, back to the original question. I have a Rock Island Armory .45 acp, a Walther .22, and 7.62 (some Russian maker).

The future in Minnesota..
Seeing how a large part of why the Vikings aren't doing well is because of Favre, that doesn't seem like that big of a problem.

Learn from others mistakes
Thanks for the tip. Good thing you swerved in time. I bet your adrenaline was pumping after that. On a better note, how was the fishing?

Cowboys Won
The Cowboys absolutely destroyed the Giants tonight if you didn't know. Do you guys think it was because of Garret as the new coach or what? Either way, The Cowgirls still can't make the playoffs. ;D ;D ;D

Another 5lber....UPDATE!
That fish is easily bigger than the first one you posted, but I'm not sure it's 6.5lbs. It's kind of hard to tell by the way you hold it. Either way a great fish.

When did they change the Mustangs from SOHC? They needed to do it a long time ago.

This picture says it all..
Man, that sucks. It's still in the 70's over in Cincinnati, but it's gonna be freezing next week. I will be feeling your pain in about a month.

CMA Awards!
Actually, I don't really see much of a difference. Look through some country Billboard charts for those decades and you'll find a whole buncha "pop" country. Charley Pride, Glen Campbell, and a bunch of other super-orchestrated, campy, pop country. I grew up listening to that stuff on classic country radio. If that's what people like, that's fine with me. Heck, I think Wichita Lineman was a great song. But that, and half the other hits of the time were just about as pop as you could get. IMO, there is just as much, if not more, straight-up country now as there was back then. The genre, like every other, has always had its share of fluff and gems. I agree with you, but I was just trying to say that not all country back then was considered pop music. There are by far more pop country singers today than there were back in the 60's.
