  1. Yea Ill try but my dad is kind of refusing to. He said he has been there 3 or 4 times but the last time was 10 years ago.
  2. Whats share-a-lunker?
  3. FYI, you can now purchase alcohol in Emory which is about 15 minutes away. Please be mindful of the rough water in March as Fork can really get rolling. If you are limited by your boat you will want to stay at Fishermans Cove as it is on Williams Cove which connects to Little Mustang. Those coves get hammered by fishermen but you can get out of the wind and catch some very nice bass. I have caught 4 over 9 pounds and several 5's, 6's, 7's, and 8,s out of Williams in the spring. We have a place there and if I can help just PM me and I will assist any way I can. I should be there over the full moon so maybe I can show you a few productive spots. That be great!!!! I think the fullmoon is the 18th or 19th. We are not going to be there the 18th. I think we are leaving Memphis the 12th getting there early to fish the next day fish all week and fishing on the 17th and leaving the 17th. i got a tournament the 19 so will be cutting it close.
  4. You would like Big Sean and J Cole they are both amazing but J Cole is a little better. Wiz Kalifah is out there to but these guys are better. Drake isn't that good to me anymore.
  5. BPS Red Head decoys work pretty well. The magnum mallards hold up pretty well.
  6. Really? That was the first thing I noticed about them. They appear to be very sharp, not sure on how the point holds up though.. I was using senkos on them. That may have been my problem. But, the hooks wern't going threw the senko as well as I thought it would
  7. So most baits are made with a cobalt/tungsten mixture?
  8. Used them, got a few hits but was having problems on hooksets. The hooks seem dull to me.
  9. It has just been something flowing around in my head. Wondering how companies are able to form tungsten.
  10. I have the same combo and it's really versatile and comfy. If they sell out of that rod b4 you can get one look at a Lamiglas Excel at TW (705 model) or another Carbonlite from BPS during the February "Classic" Sales. Yea I should probably wait since I live 15 minutes from BPS. I am just getting ready for lake Fork
  11. I know that lead has a very low melting point but, how are you able to melt tungsten since it has a very high density and melting point. The only thing I can think of is using a plasma cutter but it will just cut threw it. I was also thinking of freezing the tungsten, which will slow down the molecules, and then heating it at a rapid rate, which will speed up the molecules. But all this may do is either just crack and break the metal or nothing at all.
  12. My neighbors are like my second parents. Good and bad haha. When my parents go out of town they check in on me and sometimes invite me for dinner. Also they keep an eye on me if I leave the house pass curfew........ Too many times have I gone outside just to see Mrs. Pam sitting outside in a lawn chair asking me "where are you going" and me going back in the house and shutting the garage.
  13. Forgot to ask, you using Spinning or Baitcast? If you are using spinning I wouldn't go above 1/4 and if your using Baitcast 3/8 is really all you need. You may not need many different sizes but, you may need to use different shakeyheads. I've come to notice that lot of companies have different styles that are basically shakey heads but may have some differences.
  14. Getting this reel for a good deal from someone on here, Just wondering what I should pair with it? Only really want to spend 80 or less on a rod but I don't know what length and action yet. I was thinking getting a 6'10 MH for spinnerbaits and using my 7' MH carbonlite for jigs and texas rig but not sure yet.
  15. lynyrdsky1 replied to lynyrdsky1's topic in Bass Clubs
Thanks, I can't really tell what the other people in the club think yet. I just want to get the chance to fish so they can tell for themselves if I'm good or not.
  16. Haha ok I get the point :-X.
  17. This is a reason I very much dislike Memphis. 105 in the summer and 15 in the winter. Why can't we have average weather patterns like everyone else :'(
  18. 3/16 but sometimes I use 3/8 on baitcast but that is if im using large profile and deep.
  19. Song been out awhile but, not very good at all.
  20. Used to go on trips to Joe Wheeler in Alabama every year but that has been 10 years ago. Me and my dad are trying to start a new tradition of Lake Fork but its going to be expensive.
  21. Dang wish my dad had that much trust in me and I'm almost 18.
  22. Looking at brochures of my fathers. He has one from Westside Lodge which has to be 15 to 20 years old. He said he also stayed at Lakeview Lodge idk if it is still there either.
  23. That was the dumbest thing VZW could have done. A lot of people we dealt with stayed with VZW because of their great upgrade policy... Now that's out the window! NE2 is done too... Wait....I thought you had to wait 2 to 3 years before you can get an upgrade with verizon?
  24. Wait is your dad driving the boat or you?
  25. Thanks, Ive thought about that. The pics only show a small percentage. All the bulk containers are put away. The stuff you see is easy access to my every day stuff(depending on where Im fishing. The boat is also loaded up with tackle cause Im fishing on thursday. uuuhhhh can I move in :-?
