  1. Seaguar Senshi has been good for me but I use a lot of Big Game because it's cheap, easy to find, and comes in bulk spools.
  2. I think my determination is my best strengths. I would say fishing a Bladed jig is probably Mt best skill.
  3. You were next to us at the outlet right? I saw your backseater in jeans and it made me cold. I could feel the wind through 2 sets of thermals, a sweatshirt, a hoodie, and my 100 mph suit, no way he wasn't feeling it.
  4. No, we didn't have much time and those runs hurt.
  5. Buzzbait, Zell pop, super spook jr
  6. I like the Bull Shad, but the Slammer gets my vote.
  7. That was earlier today, it was 41 degrees at that spot.
  8. Nope, I was fishing with Doc Drew in his Ranger but he was letting me run the trolling motor.
  9. First keeper of the year, 3.74 pounds, 41 degree water.
  10. Temps in the twenties, wind chill in the teens, but they still have to eat.
  11. Missed that. I agree then with the darker colors and something with a bigger profile than a worm. Fish generally hold tight to the bottom and cover in stained water. Cold, dirty water is about as tough as it gets.
  12. They didn't hurt my hookups, but they also didn't make my baits last any longer. Think I might try small zip ties this year.
  13. I've done it and there's always a Bassresource group. I always forget to do one and mess up my whole season.
  14. This is very true. I enjoy watching kids and new anglers catch fish as much as I enjoy catching them myself.
  15. I think the bright colors might have been your mistake. Everything I hear about California is clear water and heavy fishing pressure, which points straight towards natural colors to me.
  16. Just realized they don't make sapphire blue anymore either, they're killing me.
  17. I don't want them that bad, but I'd trade for some.
  18. Anyone that has some 4" Lime-purple passion to get rid of let me know.
  19. I'd start with 1/4 and 1/2oz. That looks like great water for a black and blue jig.
  20. About 6' on 8lb test.
  21. I've donated lots of baits to kids through different programs. I remember not having the money to buy much, it's a great feeling to help them out.
  22. I was wrong, it's a premade head, not a mold. http://www.barlowstackle.com/Swing-Hook-Football-Jig-with-Skirt-Collar-P3210.aspx
  23. It's all personal preference. I can palm a 200b no problem and it's really comfortable. I'd take a 200b over a 200I any day. My super tuned greenies are invaluable to me. Some people prefer classic cars to new, value all depends on the person buying it
  24. It hasn't been for lack of trying, and I plan to continue to do so.
  25. Not a squarebill but I've had good luck with a Duo Realis SHAD62DR. Suspending rattle baits are killers too.
