  1. If you ever fish any time when you might have to deal with your guides icing up, I wouldn't suggest trying to use them then.
  2. Here's a side by side of a pre Rapala wart and a new wart that are supposed to be the same color. I think it's pretty obvious, they're not. I heard rumors they were coming out with a color called Old V38, I hope it's true because it's my favorite color! What you'll see on the bottom of the bill of an old wart versus a new wart (Storm).
  3. I'm so confused what this has to do with the OP's question or with Scrogg's comment??
  4. I make my own shakyheads and have no problem getting the meatheads onto them? Pro Slider heads are great for thin worms too. Not exactly a shakyhead but pretty close.
  5. I'm sure they're work just like all the other Vision 110's KOs have. The Luck E Strike are about my favorite out of the bunch. I have a few Vicious hardbaits, including their other jerkbaits, they're pretty nice baits for the money. Their cranks were much smaller than I was hoping though.
  6. Depends on the location also. Bass in a highly pressured body of water are going to be a bit more line shy, while fish in a farm pond probably won't care. Of course fish in ultra clear lakes like Bull Shoals and Table Rock that get tons of pressure spend all winter eating the heavy wire arms of an A rig that are tied to 65lb braid or 25lb copolymer so maybe they don't care at all
  7. I've never heard of Live Foliage swimbaits and can't find anything about them?
  8. Sorry for your loss man.
  9. Since I caught my current PB in 2005 I haven't come within 2 pounds.
  10. Fishing out of my 2 man I threw my anchor without realizing it was wrapped around both rods I had with me. Thankfully after quite a bit of swimming and feeling around on the bottom in the muddy water I was able to recover both, one of the rods was broken but at least I got the reel back.

    Very nicely done!
  12. We're at that terrible time of year. Ice is too thin to walk on, too thick to punch, power plants are going offline for maintenance, and the trout lakes aren't thawed yet I'd love to be able to get out and try to get a couple hard earned 3 pounders, nice work!
  13. If you're looking for an easy walk the dog bait, a Super Spook Jr. is about as easy as it gets imo. I don't have a hard time walking a bait but I could walk those in my sleep.
  14. Whenever I go to the White River in Arkansas, about the only thing I throw at the trout are jerkbaits, not little ones either. There's guys that throw 6" Huddleston swimbaits at those trout down there.
  15. Mine are some of the furthest casting and smoothest stock reels I own.
  16. Welcome!
  17. The mailman brought me 3 new molds today too.
  18. Anyone know if the stacks are going at La Cygne?
  19. I also use the thin 3700 size box, a few of them.
  20. Don't do it this year. Wolf Creek plant closes down this week and La Cygne hasn't got the new stack up and running consistently yet so the water is way colder than normal.
  21. I've used egg sinkers on my T rigs in a pinch, the fish don't care.
  22. I agree. In a tournament where every single bite is so crucial and you have to perform perfectly, it's about as exciting as it gets for me. Just ask A-mart how critical it was not to lose a fish in that Classic
