After I went fishing last Friday and did well, I was replaying the day through my mind as I was falling asleep on the couch. Twice I woke myself up setting the hook. My wife thought it was hilarious, I was just disappointed that I wasn't actually fishing.- Garmin Echo 551Dv
Lots of pros are going with Garmin anymore. Brent Chapman and Scott Martin are 2 off the top of my head. Garmin is making a huge move in the freshwater fishing department. I was so impressed with their products that I bought 2 93SVs for my boat. I love how easy they are to use and how clear the screen is.- Bret Hite
Maybe he likes the song?- New H20 Xpress Jerkbaits From Academy
I like the H2O baits, but I doubt I'll be trying that one.- Taylor Swift: Style
The video of the LEO getting with it to "Shake it Off", in his patrol car cracks me up every time! She made the right move going to pop, that way I hear less of her when decide to listen to country- Trimming Jig Weed Guards?
I never mess with mine.- Duo Realis
I bought one this fall but haven't used it much. I like what I've seen so far, it's much bigger than I expected though.- Wiggle Warts Question
The new version is better than previous post rapala versions imo. As for the old versus new, just like anything else one day one could be better and the next the other will be. I've caught lots of fish on both but the old version does seem to catch more big fish for some reason.- Swimbait Eaters!
The riprap at this lake faces east and west over a majority of the lake. It was in the hot water plume so that was more the deciding factor than anything.- Swimbait Eaters!
Yes, that's the Ghost Ayu. I really wanted the Flash Carp but couldn't pass on this one for that price.- Last Chance! New G. Loomis E6X Rod Giveaway!
I must have caught the same 3. Bad thing is, it took me 3 days to catch those 3- Finesse, Baitcasters, Vs Standard
I'm right there with you. I have a 50E that is a nice little reel, but it seems almost hard to palm. Maybe my hands are too big for it, I don't know. I still fish with a couple old Curado B's that are huge compared to a lot of reels today but I don't notice it I guess.- Another New Member

If you're going to do it I wouldn't seal your livewell up though. That would be a ton of space to waste that you could be using for storage instead.- Confidence Baits For Late February Early March?
We haven't seen 70 degree weather since October Water temps would be helpful as they'll be a much bigger deciding factor in how I would fish than the air temps.- Mixing Odd Trailers
Buzzbaits are pretty unnatural looking to start with right? Personally, I never fish a trailer on my buzzbaits but you're not going to make them look much more unnatural than they are straight out of the package. One of the lakes I fish often the fish much prefer a mismatched jig and trailer over a matching one. The big fish also prefer pork trailers much more over plastic trailers.- New Guy From Ga

Sorry to hear that. Prayers for your family in these tough times.- Video Recording My Fishing
I recently bought a Garmin Virb Elite. I've used the Go Pros and the Elite has been so much easier to figure out and start using. I really like that there's a screen on top so I can easily look and see what I'm filming on the water and if I'm even filming. I used mine for the first time on the water this past week and it worked really well, but of course I only have 1 battery and it died right before I really started catching them, but it still got 3 hours off good footage of me casting and occasionally even catching a fish. Kanasbassfisher08 has both and after fishing with him a month ago and getting to see the video and how much easier it was to setup and use the Virb, that sealed the deal for me. The camera pointing towards the back of the boat in this video was the Virb, the Go Pro was on me in the front of the boat.- Canned Tuna
And the new number 1 candidate for the "It's been a long winter" award goes to....- New Megabass S-Crank
100% of the Megabass 110s and the 1 110 magnum I owned broke for either no apparent reason, or from very minor contact with an object. I know they're a great bait and brand, but I can get myself to keep forking over $25+ for a bait that keeps falling apart on me. I'll just have to get by with the KO's and Luck E Strikes - Hook Set Practice
