Frogging Rod Size And Action
The areas you're going to be frogging are going to be a big deciding factor. The areas that I fish with a frog have very sparse weeds and mostly smaller fish where I can easily get away with a 7' MH rod. If you live on Big O you're going to need a way heavier and longer rod.

What Color Topwater Frog Is Best For Muddy Water
I would try black, and if that doesn't work you could always try black, and if all else fails I'd try black.

Co-Polymer As An Alternative To Flouro?
Exactly this. I used to use copoly for everything and got away with it just fine. It's not the the best option for some things, but unless you're fishing tournaments that's not really a big deal.

Do You Care If Your Flukes/paddle-Tails Are Perfectly Straight?
I check them in the store to prevent getting bent ones. If one is bent out of the package it usually gets thrown away.

Don't know, never made it that far into the conversation.- Which Reel Is The Best?!
This is an impossible question to answer. You can't really get a bad reel in that price range, but what I like isn't going to be what everyone else likes. I have pretty big hands so the little 50's that lots of guys love are uncomfortable to me because they don't fit in my hand well. Some guys love the paddle handles on the Lew's, I can't stand them. Some guys are obsessed with matching the color of their combos, with the weight of the reel, the list goes on and on. Then you have reels that aren't even on your list that are great reels like the Pinnacle Optimus LTE. It's a reel you don't hear a lot about but has thoroughly impressed me. It's super smooth, cast great, smooth drag, comfortable in my hand, will compete with any reel in it's normal price range (160), and I've found them as low as $90 brand new online with a little searching. Plus it's just a slick looking reel, which never hurts. I've been putting it through it's paces this fall too- Blade Bait V. Football Jig
I actually fish a spoon by making cast a lot of the time. Most cast are pretty short but I'll make really long cast at times if need be. I just let it sink to the bottom on a slack line until it hits bottom. Once it's on the bottom I start snapping it off the bottom and letting it fall on a semi slack line, repeat all the way back to the boat then I'll jig it vertically under the boat for a minute or two in case I had a fish following it. Some bites are very hard "ticks" on the drop, but more often than not they're just there next time I go to snap it. Normally, I'm targeting fish I've seen on the finder but sometimes I'll target likely, deep water area. Has anyone ever tried a Rapala Jigging Rap for open water, vertical bass? It's become a popular bait for walleye guys in open water, I'm assuming it would be a really good bait for bass in cold water too.- Strike Pro Lures. Are They Quality? Looking To Buy Some Good Glide Baits $20 & Lower.
Savage Gear Slide Swimmer is another good, cheaper option for a glide bait.- Mushroom Heads Vs Regular Jig Heads (Neko Rig)
It doesn't really make a big difference. I fish the Ned a lot and have used both. I prefer the mushroom style head but it's mostly just because it looks better- Live Baitfish
That's actually changed to my understanding. Now it's okay from non ANS bodies of water except you can't move them upstream past a dam on a river or stream. I could be interpreting completely wrong but I know it's changed.- If You Could Only Use 2 Lures For A Day, What 2 Lures? Softbaits Are Ok To Pick In This Game.

Great bass but that is a monster gill! I wish they got that big more often, big bull gills are a blast on a flyrod and a popping bug.- Rainy Day
No, just rigged like you normally would. I think maybe you're seeing a couple pictures where the head pulled all the way through the top of the bait and it does kind of look like they were rigged up backwards.- Hello From Central California

I like jigging spoons. I catch quite a few each spring on Little Cleos while fishing for trout. Never done much fishing with the Silver Minnow but I do carry one all the time.- What Is Your Average Sized Fish?
Me too. I caught one that was 3.25 at 15", and that was crazy, about to bust at the seems fat. Another 3/4 of a pound would just be insane.- River Otter: Friend Or Foe?
