About 14 years ago I bought two cheap 40 dollar spinning reels. One was a quantum and one was a shimano. The quantum barely lasted two years and the shimano still works to this day. Which reel would you buy?. I figure if shimanos cheap reels are built better why wouldn't thier more expensive reels be better. I have nothing against people who like quantum, but honestly which reel would you buy. - this is additional information for my previous post, I am not trying to pile on the bashing of quantum.

That is why I will never buy another Quantum. I bought my first and last Quantum about 14 years ago, it was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned.

You obviously haven't spent time around the same muskie fisherman I have. They make the vitriole expressed here about bass look like child's play. In Wisconsin and Minnesota if a big muskie stays in the boat, you go in the water. Catch and release of big muskie (of legal size) is an unwritten law.

I agree with you, but common sense and the legal system are two different things. A friend of mine was in the same situation and after the Lawyers, Police, D.A., and Judge got involved he was ready to pull out his hair.

Even if your uncle does not pay rent he is a legal resident of your aunts home after a given period of time, an eviction order would be required to remove him. As a legal resident he has the ability to remove abandoned property, (the deffinition of abandoned property varies by state), from your aunts property. If your aunt is willing to back you, and not her brother, you may have a chance in court.

I you have problems with the regular customer service number try calling the numbers for businesses or sales. After making 15 calls to RCA customer support about a TV repair with no results I made one call to the sales department and the problem was resolved. p.s., the people answering the business and sales lines speak great English.

Wondering what Rapala people are using in the Wisconsin/Minnesota or Midwest area for Pike. I hear a lot of fishermen use a J11/J13 jointed Gold Fluorescent Red minnow. Is this a good choice?, or would a F13/F18 Firetiger original floating minnow be a better option?.

I started fishing at a young age and I love it even more today, but watching people fish for money is boring. I enjoy the fishing shows like Al Linders Angling Edge ( I realize they fish for money also) because he actually enjoys fishing. The only thing that interest me about professional fishing is finding out what the pros use. Watching two guys talk about other people fishing does not do it for me. Also, watching a bunch of guys casting gets very boring after a few minutes. I wish the coverage was more like a fishing show, but "time is money" to these guys.

I just seen the video and all I can say is what an inconsiderant and dangerous jerk. I have never seen anything like that before on a lake or river, much worse than Ikes incident.

I have never had a problem with the guys fishing the tournaments, but the fans are another issue. I actually had one guy tell me to stop fishing for bass because a tournament was taking place. I just shook my head and told the guy to get a life.

I agree with flech. I recently sold a bunch of my Pfluegers and now own 3 of the Revo S models and 3 of the STX models. I am really impressed with both of them. The S models are well worth $99 bucks. Fivebasslimit, which braking system do you like better?. Is it worth 50 or 100 dollars more to get the magnetic brakes?.
