I will be there. Already experimenting with my marinade. Trying to combine honey with crushed red pepper, and some other spices. So far i have gotten rave reviews. You think brown sugar cinnamon BBQ marinade caramelizes good when grilled? You obv never have had honey. I was so pleased.

my parents (dad) have had Comcast and directv at war for our account forever. he threatens to leave Comcast for directv...if he dosent get what he wants, he does it. then Comcast begs him to come back, gives him whatever he wants, so then hes back to Comcast, now directv is throwing every package they have at us to. Currently we have Comcast with EVERY movie package for free, they upgraded our internet, and we have HD DVR's in every room in the house that cost us nothing. Now Verizon Fios just got put in our neighborhood and my dad is chomping at the bits to make this a 3 way battle royal....Sick b.astard....

So I have been fishing the local spot pretty regularly after work, using a 5 inch Senko with like a 3/0 or a 5/0 worm hook, Texas style... But I noticed that the bass tend to always take the back end of the worm and when I set it I never really land em...well, more or less just displeased with the amount of "taps" vs. how many I land. No big deal right? Just let them take it a little bit more, maybe wait for that second tap then set. But it seems the fish here like to "hit and run" when they first go for it, just a single tap then peace out. After being frustrated I came up with a new rig (Photoshop pic i made up for illustration purposes below) that I thought could fool them...and it did. There are some pros and cons to this rig, lets start with the con Con: The "float down" action when working it slow is a little different then what I would like, but minimal..also, the big one, It literally massacres the fish. The 9 that I have caught with this fish have had double hooked, one way in their throat, and the other on the lip. 1 died from being bled out after removing the "trailer" hook and rest were bleeding pretttyyyyyyyy heavily. Pro: Cast further? I guess with the extra weight it goes further than normal, which in my situation(bridge fishing) works out great because i can just barely reach places i could not before. Also, the % of lands. My odds have jumped significantly since rigging this up, have yet to go home skunked and this area is heavily fished. Is this something that people do normally and I am just a moron for not knowing about this rig? If so this thread is mute. If not, I think this may be something you might want to try.

When i heard about it i said "oh thats nice". Cuz everytime they give us new englanders a warning bout this they hype it up soooooo much. Ame thing happened a year a two ago. The whooe state was state of emergency and people were fleeing southers coast mass...and there were lieke 15 mph gusts. Thas it. Which will probably happen this time. And to prove it i will be sitting in a lawn chair drinking beers on m front lawn until mon morning and nothing will happen but a good buzz

I just dont get it. Like, Do you know how many earthquakes there were today already? 16. And the day is not over yet. And yes there is one small one(ok fine "mild") on the east coast and they internet has a seizure. There was a 6.0 in Sumatra yesterday and did you see any status updates from jungle people freakin out saying "OMG I WAS IN A TREE WACKING COCONUTZ WHEN I FELTZ ITZ!!" No. Because there are literally dozens if not more earthquakes that happen everyday. For God's sake there was 13 in Colorado alone in the past 27 hours! And if you are unimpressed with my predictability or my vast knowledge of earthquakes:

I'm in. Same deal as last time if theres a seat. If someone who is not a boater wants to go I will give up my spot to them because I am such a nice guy. As for grub, i will DEF be bringing some. Possibly my signature marinated steak tips.
