  1. hand buff always I used a machine once and almost cried I was doing my '89 Camaro not paying attention to the cord to the buffer it left little half moon scratches across my rear quarter panel for about 6inches I freaked out called up my dad he brought some scratch x stuff over and I got it out the best I could I could still see it but no one else noticed but I noticed I was so paranoid over it every show I went to I set my up to kinda block that side lol. I was so proud of that car it looked like a million bucks and only cost me 600 for the car and 1200 for parts on the engine I built in college the paint and all other mods to the chassis and suspension I fabricated and made my self to support the 383 I dropped in her and the paint I got for free because I had a hook up at the parts store that gave me all there paint they mixed wrong.
  2. has anyone tried these yet? look like they could have some good action to them
  3. So why bass fishing? why do all of you like bass fishing the most over say pike or walleye or any of the other sport fish. I mean what made y'all like bass fishing so much why do we like watching BASS and FLW with KVD, Ike, Skeet, and them guys and not the other pros like Pete Mania and the walleye and pike guys or the Redfish tournaments that seem to be on tv alot nowadays.
  4. Idk just seemed to shine better longer and not haze like some other waxes did. I haven't waxed or detailed a car in years my wife asked me to do her old 3000gt but I always put it off and never did then we sold it it didn't hold car seats very well lol.
  5. Hmmm May 2013 you say. I'll have been back stateside for a few months and money in the bank from this deployment I'm gonna start working on the wife now cuz I wanna go!
  6. Im a huge fan of Mothers car care products I have tried the Meguiars and a slew of others but always found my self going back to Mothers. I usually started off early in the season with the clay bar and then hand waxed it at the end of every month and spray detailed and washed it threw out the week with going to car shows almost every day during the summer months. Nothing looks better then a all black car freshly waxed black will make any car/truck/bike/boat look bad arse and sexy.
  7. IDK i got the gene from my pops i think my boys did to noah will be 3 on Monday and he takes his little power wheels tractor to the horse barn scoops up crap with the bucket then heads for the woods to "feed the baby coyotes" i followed him one day staying just outta sight seeing what he will do hes got no fear of the woods or water which is kinda scary but id rather have that then a obese toddler who has tons of allergies and stays in side. I'll be damned if my boys grow up in front of a computer screen unless the screens on BR and there using it to show me up on the water. also i noticed a pattern with all my dads good fishing spots, his last visits were all before I was born. Which is ok because I can remember as far back as i can being just a little guy fishing with him he probably gave up the spots because he couldn't take his toddler back there. I caught the same fish once in the same spot back to back casts lol I think it had a thing for top water mice catch release swam to same hole in the cat tails in about 1.5ft of water my next case ran parallel to it and it darted right back out and got hooked again.

is this you keeping your dogs in shape over the summer lol
  9. I have spots my dad will draw me a quick map sketch of how to get to and tell me how he hasn't been there sense before I was born(im 25) and that he used to catch all kinds of bass and pike there. I'll go to said spots usually long over grown and forgotten trekking my way threw some woods find the spot and start nailing em every cast some times. I'd frequent the spots more often but he always seems to tell me spots like 3 miles off the road threw some woods across the farmers fields down the hill around the old barn and threw more woods to get to it I don't know how the hell he ever found these honey holes back in the day lol.
  10. that's why I throw terminators they hold up a tad better well the wire arm anyways skirts usually get F.U.B.A.R after 2 or 3. That or go to walmart and stock up on the .98cent spinners and a pair of pliers to keep adjusting it back till the arm snaps off lol.
  11. Yup I have several go to honey holes for when my lucks down and i'm struggling to get bit i go there get a fish then move on and seem to do better. Me and my nephew will hit a few we'll float up call it and throw a bait in and see if we catch it we usually do. We have one fish we've been catching for a few years now every spring post spawn same 10ft stretch of water on a white and gold spinner every single year shes gotten big over the years. the fish in question has one eye and a scar that's how we know its the same fish.
  12. haha yeah don't forget the food he spends more time talking bout his favorite eats then fishing.
  13. I'm in the National Guard as an Infantryman when I'm not doing this I'm a teachers aide for a diesel/agriculture tech class on the civilian side but I'm looking to make a career change after this deployment is over.
  14. How do you know your not grabbing a snapper? when your hand comes back missing a few digits? I would try it if i KNEW 100% with out a doubt its catfish other then that hell no ill stick to my poles and hooks and have eyes on before I go sticking my hand in the mud after something. We have small cats up here but some gigantic turtles that arnt no joke I seen one break a baseball bat like it was a toothpick the guy was just trying to get it out of the road it was easy 3foot long head to tail and about the size of a man hole cover.
  15. I had ours doing pheasants for a bit her parents were champ bird dogs the guy was hardcore into wiems and viszla's(what I wanted) and he prided himself on that he didn't go the show route you see most wiems in now he kept them at there roots as bird dogs. Graycie was a natural at it too we just don't have many game birds around here almost none actually I just did it to try and calm her down getting her brain working. Now she just thinks shes a horse as she spends her days out in the barn and horse pasture with my wife's 2 horses. I'll try and get my wife to upload some pics of her when she was fishing with us and send em to me so I can post them I don't have any pics on my computer.
  16. did you check midwayusa I buy almost all of my stuff from them when it comes to parts and reloading unless Natchezss has a better deal but they dont carry much for hard to find parts mostly ammo and universal stuff like scopes and such. Midway is usually got everything I ever look for or need
  17. yeah probably im sure he would if it was with my boys and I. I know before hos excuse was always because he cant use his legs and he was afraid of going in but i doubt he would fall in but then again he does fall alot now. Im gonna see if he would want to after this deployment. and professionally id wanna fish with Ike as much flak as he gets on here hes still my favorite pro
  18. Idk of many quarries with big bass in it but I know of a few spots that have some good sized large and small mouth in it. The mouth of oak orchard and lake Ontario is a great spot at the yacht club, 4 Cs marina, and by three bridges area flipping the docks and cat tails. need a boat for that though you can fish the yacht club and 3 bridges without one but its tough if there's anyone else there before you. Lake Alice is another spot that's got some decent sized fish i caught my PB there but it was 2 years ago and sense then iv been in a slump on that lake but know there there i just been missing them. Then there's what i call the Walmart pond in Albion its a pond across the street from Walmart and its loaded with big bass that no one fishes for. if u have a canoe or something its best but u can fish the whole ting from shore just takes longer walking around it and threw the hedgerow to get to some spots but its definitely worth it.
  19. My father we haven't gone fishing together in probably 10years now he got out of fishing when he went into a wheelchair. Hes walking now that hes got a prosthetic leg so maybe he will start to fish again. I'd love to get him and my boys out in a boat fishing together.
  20. I got my wife a Weim for a wedding present when we got married that dog is so goofy and hyper and crazy and did I mention hyper. She loved to go fishing with us i had her pointing smallmouth in the river lol. we ended up moving and having to get rid of her so my in-laws took her and now she lives there with the horses. She was to hyper for the kids though she had a problem with that was never mean just to hyper and clumsy always stepping on them or jumping on them we could never put the boys on the floor or in a bouncer when she was in the house We have a German Shepard now my wife got him when I left for this deployment hes 10months I think now and great with my boys. I met him when i was home on leave hes a big old shep and super friendly and amazing with the boys hes super protective of both of them wich is nice with me being gone.
