yeah that doesn't work cuz if it did how would you explain all the ticks us army guys get when we wear long pants tucked into our boots and long sleeve tops synched down at the wrists. so BAM problem not solved were talking bout a tiny little resilient bug that will get its way to your skin at all costs long pants tucked in don't matter there a coming. ^^^^^^^^^^^ Iv always been a fan of 100% deet both the spray and the paste kind thats hard to get only thing that keeps me from becoming a blood buffet to the skeeters and I don't mean the boats.

Also holding vertical is a big no no i heard especially on bigger fish because there long slender bodies they cant handle it or something. idk how true it is i see alot of pics of pros holding them by the gills straight up and down with no support on there belly

The spot im talking about on Johnsons creek above the dam early spring nothing but bass with the occasional pike then the bass spawn and disappear and its northern like ever other cast doesn't matter if your shallow or deep cranking or dragging the bottom with a jig or t rig your gonna catch a pike anywhere from 20"-36" is my biggest but iv hooked and lost bigger there my dad has a 48" on his wall from 86 when I was born that came from there.

Its like that in my 1 spot but its northerns to bass its actually really annoying

I have cut back a little bit only cuz I ran out and am waiting new shipment why you ask lol. Iv never thrown the UJ/BS jigs I do wanna try them though. Most the veg I throw stuff threw is idk what its called its thick nasty and the bottom if its hard bottom is usually slimmy snot grass that clings to everything. If i get stuff sticking to my set up it usually is on the hook or trailer but I rarely bring back veg with the AT grass jigs

Dont catch it in the first place lol I release some northerns in the water I fish out of a canoe so I just get em along side me and use my pliers never touching them I hate the dang snot rockets

I throw the AT threw wood,grass, pads, brush, even rock piles though rock piles is pushing it I try not to but I have and with great success on smallies. I even use them as a punching set up i have a al white one 1oz maybe 1.5 cant remember with a stanley ribbit frog as a trailer also in white that set up there was killer last spring and then for pike later in the summer though I went threw trailers every other fish it seemed when the pike were biting. i also throw a .5oz or 3/8oz AT with a cheap no name twin tail with a 16" leader tied to the hook then a fluke I toss that threw the veg ripping it and killing it rip rip kill or steady retrieve with pops I caught my first double that way followed be several others including a bass pike combo the pike bit last minute as i was landing the bass talk about having a heart attack bending down to grab a solid 2# bass to have a 30" northern come up and rip the bass and rig away from the bank while your inches from it.

hell on the no back lashes my SX isn't finicky a bit I went from cheapo dicks and Walmart combos to my sx I tie a duo lock on it and change type/size/weight lures constantly and almost never back lash if I do make an adjustment its very minimal and usually to loosen it so I can flip/pitch a bait but iv been know to have it all the way loose flip a jig to cover bring it out and then bomb the same jig way out parallel to the bank never making a single adjustment just learning to feel and "hear" the reel iv kinda trained my self to listen for that sound of it over running and my thumbs right there feathering it down. I don't have a STX not yet anyways but I do have SX's and there supposedly the worst to cast. Im not saying its you or the reel but somethings off maybe it could be the reel maybe its just you already have your mind set you wont like it so no mater what ur subliminally using bad form or something to make the reel act up or just not putting effort into adjusting it correctly. I know im guilty of it if im forced to go back to a crappy reel i started with I don't take the time to adjust it or make sure its still adjusted and i get sloppy or angry with my casts and just compounds the problem cuz my minds already set that the reel is a POS. But if you really don't like it and want to get rid of it i'll take it off your hands.

I hate all of you........my 2012 totals will probably remain a fat 0 unless I get leave and the wife lets me go fishing at least once is all I ask. hopefully I'll be adding some salt water fish to the count at least I found a new spot all the local Kuwaitis fish I didn't know about till i found it when running the pier last night and seen the out line of fishing poles on the nights reflection of the water im gonna have to investigate during the day and try it out im suffering bad withdrawal.

iv caught and released 2 small mouth in one year 2 different bodies of water that i was amazed they were still alive. One was on a topwater boss rat and this thing was in the shape of a Z like its back was so F.U.B.A.R it swam funny as heck it obviously had to have happened when it was younger probably just a minnow and it was about 17" id say if u took the zig and zag outa its spine. The second had no fin on its back whats that dorsal? but anyways the one that's on its back not there just a series of nubs like 8th of an inch high like the bone never grew or some sicko cut them off like you would a sunny if your using them for bait. this gal was a good fat healthy fish I caught in the spring an easy 3 pushing 4lbs. Plus plenty of one eyed fish iv been catching the same one every year for 4 years now outa a private pond hes gotten pretty big 7# no problem he was like a 4 when we first caught it and my nephews spinner went threw its eye

My in laws bought my 2 year old son 6 chickens about 2 months back got them as chicks and now i heard there full grown almost and have been moved out to the horse barn and took up residence in a spare stall. I don't think the have laid any eggs yet but the should start soon and should by the time I get home im gonna fry some of them up soon as I can or boil them for my self fry em for the wife and kids.

J Francho swears by the northland toothy critter I think it is its tie able and everything. Here in WNY we have the same problems personally I don't throw cranks alot but I do get more pike then bass on some days when fishing flukes and other soft plastics and jigs i used to break off alot not so much anymore and all i did was switch to braid and flouro lines instead of whats on sale at wally world. I do get some bite offs i guess you can call it but i land far more then break off plus if they do im out a soft plastic not a expensive lucky craft.

It would be sweet if it was real and your walmarts one of the lucky ones that carries falcon rods, abu reels and rods, tungsten weights and all the other goodies they got

I still like the recessed line tie on the all terrain I have some of the others mentioned and I actually notice a difference of my knot and tag end getting hung up with grass and crap.

I would be one of them dummies I'd find a spot with no fisherman though. growing up we did our tubing and jet skiing shenanigans at my best friends cottage no one ever fished there besides us and I don't think we ever caught anything it was just us out on "our" boat we bought at age 12 and fixed up cast a spoon out and drove around calling trolling drinking his dads beer and cigars we stole. We had miles of lake ontario to our selves. We did something like the above picture on a snow mobile once...............it was fun.........ended bad...........inflatable raft + saucer sleds + fast snow mobile + dumb teenage boys = epic fail lol
