None fishing related My Marlin XS7 .243 for only $380 with a scope this things a tack driver granted I'm a good shot in the first place some guns just don't group or shoot consistantly this rifle is amazing if I can see it I can kill it its a sub MOA gun all day long at ever distance iv shot longest so far was last week a groundhog 510 yards head shot. There's some guns made nicer for 3 times as much that strugle to keep it under a MOA once out there.

Today at work I had to grab one of my movers and go to our other school and help them woth rolling sod. Man soon as we got there we were like WTH this is not our job it looked like a B to do we had to roll a 60x60 area by hand and cut it all by hand. Honestly it wasn't that bad other then all the mud caked onto my sneakers we made it fun throwing worms and mud balls at eachother blasting the radio. The down side is we finished befor lunch and now got nothing to do till 230 looks like a long leasurly drive back to punch out taking the back roads alonf lake ontario looking for some new fishing spots.

Same here HS I was 135 college 140 after basic weight was 155 got married outa basic 155 when my first son was born 205. I fluctuate between 190 and 205 now sad part is I eat healthy now but back when I was skinny and younger heck 3 years ago I ate everything out of the deepfryer and take out and drank like a fish.

Well its only 1 reel I see any point in taking care of at this point all my others are crap(tennacy ap,quantum probe,pflueger echlon,quan. burst,bps extreme spinning) I'm gonna buy another revo or 2 in a few weeks. But the junk reels I'm prolie gonna sell or give to my nephew I don't see putting money into them.

Ha ain't that the truth last week I had a tournament the week befor I killed em then tournament came and d**n near got skunked managed to get 5 at the end go back the next day and everyday for a week sense and caught 30 in an hour.

I'm still throwing em in 83* water and killing em with it fishing it slow like I would in icy water bass and pike alike love a easy meal even if its a dead sticked stick bait my go tos are chrome and black smith wicks and a perch xrap smithwick suspends x rap sinks slow

As some of you know I'm deploying in 3 months and will be gone for a year going like a year and a half without fishing!!! Should I do anything to my gear for long term storage. I was just thinking sending what reels are worth it to DVT for a cleaning and maybe a few upgrades once back putting em in a storage tote and giving it to my pops to hold onto till I return. Same with the rods I was just gonna get a piece of Pvc with 2 end caps and store my rods that way. My terminal and lures I'm prolie just gonna try to get some of that silica rust inhibitor stuff and toss it in the trays. Do you think this will work or have any other ideas or am I wasting my time worrying bout it.

Try KVD line and lure that and iv read flouro has a break in period where the more u fish it the more manageable it becomes. As for the OP I use 20lb vanish for flipping jigs and other trigged baits on tungsten heads

What kind of wire do you use I wanna wire wrap my store bought jigs and spinners because the bands break. It looks like just welding wire is that what it is cuz if so I got 55gal drums full of it that's old just sitting that we can't use at work anymore
