I was just looking at poor boys blaid baits and I got to thinking I could make that. So I'm gonna screw around here at work with the idea because its dead our last day with students was Tuesday and all the paperworks done so I got nothing to do for a whole week still. So I'm thinking some sheet metal for the body and 2 weld beads to the front for added weight and action a little ginding a shot of paint or clear coat and its ready for hooks and some water. What ya think Also jugling in my head some body hammers and sheet metal to make some flutter spoons

I wanted some rage shad but they didn't have any all they had was craws, toads, 1 pack of monkeys, and thumpers I stocked on toads craws and the 1 pack of monkeys

I had a feeling they sank but that's still ok I like to let them sink onto beds and jig them tends to drive bass nutty or a pike rushes in and amputates kermy haha. I'm thinking the rage will be better for this then the horny toads I can't wait to get out tonight and try em out

I just picked up a few packs gander had a sale buy 3 get 1 free so I stocked up on all kinds of rage products. How are the toads do they float when u pause or do they sink like horny toads. Also space monkey what's the best way to fish them just t rigged.

My nephew does this all the time or he puts a tube on them he only buys the cheap 99cent walmart spinners and I hate to say it he's out fished me and my terminators a few times with the throw some plastics on a skirtless spinner routine. Its diffrent the fish probably never seen it befor unlike the everyday run of spinners in the same basic colors and blades thrown every day.

For pure looks like they will catch fish it would be my koppers and mad maxx frogs but both have produced 0. I like scum frogs the best they hook way more fish in my opinion. They do have down falls like casting distance and durability but I can buy 3 for the price of 1 spro,koppers, or tt mad maxx frog. Same goes for the snag proof boss rat I kill with that thing. But my fav is def scum frogs hands down

Bread is my weakness I love bread every time I go to the inlaws for dinner my father inlaw buys a big loaf of fresh french bread I polish off 3/4s of the loaf myself with butter I fill up on bread then never eat much of my main meal haha. The bread at outback steak house is good as hell to then there blooming onion oh so good

olive garden bread sticks are fricken amazing I think I ate all but 3 tonight out of 6 baskets lol. I wish u could go there and just get bread sticks there so good. I know there's a few of u out there who have a weakness for these things

I'm sitting here bored out of my mind at work all my paperwork for the year is done and students are gone so iv got nothing better to do then put together wish lists on ever tackle site known to man. Well in my browsing I got a idea I was reading and looking at mattlures u2 gill how it sits nose down like a feeding gill. Well then I seen slider head jigs and thought hmmm throw a fluke on there can be rigged weedless texas style. Throw a fluke on it pitch it to a bed and look like a minnow or goby feeding on eggs. I supose shaky heads could do the same thing like a spot remover now that I think about it. What ya think killer new presentation or am I to late your already doing it or tried and failed

I always go out during that time of the day on lunch break and wide wobble cranks and white spinners seem to be my ticket Ps good choice on the rod

Man this stuff is amazing I got 3 fish yesterday because of this stuff. I went to my local river threw some zoom flukes had hits almost every cast but just nip and spit. So I dug out my tube of mega strike first cast after aplying I got that pesky pike that hit the plastic 30 times befor just this time it held on. Same situation but with 2 small mouth throwing a fluke getting bites but no hooks smeared some mega on the thing first hit boom fish simply amazing. Only down side I had yesterday was a I had a gob on my fingers and had a mosquito land on my temple and I used the hand with mega strike to swat it got it in my hair and in my ear a little lol. On another trip with J Francho I landed the first bas of the day on a fluke and mega strike and the bass never even got the hook outa the rubber he just held the tail and I yanked him right in the boat.

Iv only ever caught channels that's all there is I think its a new hobby I picked up a few years back case of big boy pops bucket of liver and lots of bug spray.

What's the best time to go for catfish I'm itching to get out and do some night catfishing. I don't have many waters with large cats most in the 5 to 10lb range and that's out of the erie canal. Is there a certain time or weather pattern that turns the cat bite on.

She asks to hunt but she's a huge animal lover so I don't bother but she's still bad luck when comes to fishing at least this year anyways

Have u tried throwing follow up lures like a fluke or senko that resembles the same color. That's been my best way to get them yeah no big splash but still a fish I get the big splash when they miss then throw a fluke or senko on the swirl in the water and let it sit and hold on 99.9%of the time that fish takes the plastic

I use gammy skip gap for almost all plastics bout the only ones I don't use it on is my punching plastics and big baits I use gammy flipping hooks

I have devil spear I love em I throw some mega strike on it and wham bam thank you mam

Iv never hooked one but had them chase and pick up a plastic. Just yesterday I had a luck e strike floating worm or a flick shake head wacky style tossed it into a ball of carp and they all dove after it and I watched them suck the worm up to eat it but never got the hook into one.

All my buddies fished when I was your age and that was 9 years ago there was 4 of us that if we wernt sleeping or in school we were below the falls in town with a cut off bottle of mt dew filled with craw fish we caught catching smallmouth all day everyday. Iv actually found it harder now to find people to fish with all my friends are gone but a few and they stoped fishing. My 17yr old nephew got into parting so he doesn't fish much either with me anymore. J Francho was the last person I fished with that was into fishing as much as I was most people I try taking can't keep up
