Well I'm more then sold on the stuff I put it on all my plastics today had tons of hook ups aven ehen reacting slow. Then to top it off I caught a crappie that kept coming up to the canoe biting the tail of the fluke I had dangling over the edge. The crappie hit it 3 or 4 times then I got sick of it and when he came up I grabbed him as he dangled from the tail no hook so it def makes them hold longer

Well found out first hand my shallow fry crankbait hooks are sharp and how a foul hooked fish feels. I was slamming crappie on this crank trying and expecting bass to bite it I did get 1 bass that took the hooks across the top of its head. The very next cast I ended up in a tree when casting into the wind. Well when I ripped it free the thing came screaming back at me it was like in slow motion it tried to matrix it but it hit me right in my right eye thankfully my oaklys deflected it away from my eye but burried both front and rear hookes into my fore head temple. So now I'm freaking out my nephew is busy fighting a bass outa some stumps on a jig. Iv got blood running down my face into my mouth. Were in the canoe with to much crap between us for him to help so his punk arse pulls his phone out to video me ripping the thing outa my head. I felt around figured out which way the hook was going it made a complete pass threw with the rear hook in my temple so I busted out the gerber and worked it back out basicly just ripped it out. Then the front hook in my forehead was just under the skin but past the barb it came out the same way just took 3 attemps first 2 just hurt a lot and tugged lol. This was all in the first hour of a 5hr trip but I continued to fish got a crappie on the next cast. I still got yelled at for it by the wife when she asked what happend and I said karma she flipped but she's been nutty lately lol(she's 28 weeks prego)

Went out today looking to slam some bass got a few bass but ended up slamming the ole paper mouth. They were every where hitting just about anything. My nephew wanted to keep them to fry but soon as I threw one on a stringer id go biteless for like 10minutes so id throw the crappie back and id start slamming them again. After catching 3 more we figured we were on a good spot getting hit every cast id keep one and they would shut up. I musta went threw that pattern 3 or 4 times befor we left and we never kept a single one. They were all giant slabs smallest one was about 12in ill post pics later when I resize them they were inhalling big cranks.

Anyone here use the new devil spear. I threw it today rigged with a pegged 3/8oz bullet and a gammy 5/0 heavy cover hook. First cast got me a solid 2.5lber made a few more casts but no takers. Water temp was in the high 40s first day of sun and no rain in 3 weeks she hit it soon as it touched the water.

Well I got two 1 -2lbers on it but the thing was destroyed after the first one so I re rigged but just rotated it 180 so the hook was on the other side where the gap was befor. After the 2nd fishthe thing was split like a bannana. Is this usual with these things I know there on the soft side but wow iv never had a plastic last that short of a time

I use the pick on my nail clippers to pick out backlashes I tried the thumb trick never really got it. Another tip I heard and did a few times was make a really far cast as far as u can pull out a few arms lengths and put some clear tape on the line left on the spool. Then just wind it back up tape disapears and it saves your line from backlashing really deep or what I call jumping.

My kids are taking there nocti exams this week if they pass they get there endorsment to be certified in diesel tech its a week long test then they do our class final in a few weeks.

I have a old shimano sedona the things probably 10 years old. It still works works great actually but I noticed the line is cutting threw the arm that drops the bail right where the bail wire attaches. Its chewing up my line pretty good. Is there anyway to tell what year it is to order the part.

I shoot vmax 17gr out of my .17hmr I put 7 rounds into a paintcan lid at 150yds I can cover all 7rounds with a quarter. Same goes with my .243 I shoot 58gr vmax molys and I'm shoot sub MOA out to 300yards I picked off a fox squirrel at 218yards with it threw the woods when coyote hunting. The 20ga gets sst sabots droped my doe and spike after 50yards of tracking but droped my big doe at 190yds dead in her tracks she didn't even twitch. With the sst it seems like it needs to get some distance. The first doe and spike were 11yd and 20yd shots. Every gun I own seems to love hornady hope fully it stops raining so I can target some groundhogs in the back pasture

the only issue I'm having is its getting ripped up pretty bad from burrying the hook to go weedless
