"Lone survivor" is one of the best books I have ever read. I couldent put the book down especialy durring the final chapters about the fire fight. Marcus latrell is one hell of a SEAL. Another good book is "Not a Good Day to Die" it goes behind the scenes of spec ops as well I haven't finshed it yet but its a good book so far.

It only took 2 fishbut I'm hooked on on rage tail products. Caught a pike saterday on a c rigged 10in anaconda then today a 4lb smallie on a baby rage craw in watermelon red flake on a strike king football head jig. I rigged the craw weedless and just worked it in the river twitching and hopping it across bottom like a scurring crawfish. This thing looked so real I thought it was a real craw in the rocks not paying attention that I had worked the bait that close to me. After that I was hook I'm stocking up on rage craws next chance I get. What other rage products are good I mostly fish shallow rivers or weed and lily choked dams

They shoulda just burried him in some vally in Afghanistan let them build a shrine and leave some seals rotated out like a normal deploymnet just to pick off all who come to show thanks to the wretched

There's supposidly is a really good place here in wny by the falls I'm gonna do research and find one. Its gonna be a year and a half befor I can do it anyways. It'd be nice to befor deployment but no cash.

So today I was wading the local river slaming the smallie population. I decided to go down behind my buddys house where iv fished my whole life. I casted out my crawcrank iv been catching all my bass on and just as it rolled over a downed tree I had the biggest strike of my life. This thing dang near pulled me off the bank it hit so hard. At first I thought maybe snaping turtle. This thing hit gave me a one two head shake and just hunkerd down. I thought hell no and tried to bring it up and it ran felt like a log on the end of my line running up stream. I finally got it up to the surface and I just seen a flash of silvery goldish color and some spots. The thing was at least as big around as my thight. Just as I got it to the surface my lure came at me at light speed. So I'm like ok probably a snapping turtle maybe a northern. I toss my crank back out and bam same thing tthis time it just starts head shaking and rolling. This time I'm bound and determind to get this sob after 10 minutes of trying to get it outa the tree making some ground then it runs and I'm hung again. At this point I'm freaking out and then the worst my line snaps. So I re tie another lure this time rapala j9 toss it out and soon as it touches the water there's a huge explosion and I'm holding a broken line again. I never got a good eyes on the fish but I think it was a huge female northern. This was by far the biggest fish iv ever hooked. The only fish found in this river are bass and pike both northern and gar. I supose a musky could of lost its way and came up its only a few miles upstream from lake ontario. But I'm really clue less to what this thing was. My buddy said same thing happend to him last week same spot but with spoons. So I'm gonna wait till this weekend when pike season opens just incase it is a pike and go with my 7mh casting rod and some 50braid and try again. What ever it was pike musky or maybe snapper it will be the biggest tthing I have ever caught.

Any one here have the laser eye surgery? Iv been toying with the idea of having it done after I deploy in the fall. I'm getting so sick of taking contacts out and glasses just always break.

I would imagine there's bass in there you'll know soon enough with warmer weather

Yeah I think you nailed it on the head cuz the times it doesn't is when I take time and like stare at the sinker and cast. Usually I look at the bait befor casting and kinda focus where I want that to land not a sinker 2ft above the bait. And I do side arm most casts ill have to start over handing the crig

I'm getting ton of back lashes when fishing my crig on my revo sx and veritas. I never back lash with any other style of rigging but I just started c rigging and I'm plauged with back lashes. Like the weight doesn't stay with the swivel the line does some crazy stuff when I cast. Some times it stays togeher and its fine but its like 50% for every 2 good casts I make 2 bad ones. On the plus side I got something to do well letting it sink.

I don't think it smells bad hardly at all. I carry a shop rag tied to my bag and just wipe my fingers on that or my pants which ever is more convieniant. But I don't notice I smell like rotting shad maybe I'm just a smellier person haha. But my wife doesn't even notice and she's got a nose like a coon hound.

I'm still using it I got a 34" northern on it yesterday it held threw all the timber and teeth I just retied as I do after every Pike and walleye.

Bass and Pike I could visually see the strike. The hooks are sharp I checked them even threw bn spinners on. I am gonna go out again today but not gonna use that rod for spinners.

Can a rod loose its back bone? I went out today and was throwing spinners I musta been bit 50 times but every time I set the hook I came up short the rod felt like a limp noodle. Its not a good rod its actualy cheap but it worked good for the last 3 seasons for everything now its just got no back bone. Its a cheap quantium tenacy ap from dicks 66M.

Today we went to the greece mall in rochester he acted up here and there and all it took was threating the carisol ride in the food court. He wanted to ride it and I just told him he had to be good or he couldent ride it and he'd behave for 5minutes. He'd act up again this time in fridays and we told him if he didn't sit in his chair the sharks under the table where gonna eat his fingers idk where the wife came up with that but it worked. He never did get to ride the ride he slaped my face well inline so he got a pat and threw him over my shoulder right out to the car and we left.

Haha I can't throw her back I tried andc now with another son on the way makes it harder she does put up with my crap from time to time. No she doesn't count my change cuz I never have change we use plastic for everything
