  1. I've had success by adjusting and also just removing the torgue adjuster. Every boat is a little different. Garnet
  2. I never launch my boat without offset sidecutters. They are a little more money than the 1st pic. but the offset lets you see what you are cutting and it's possible to cut more hook out. Please give them a try. Garnet
  3. If you inspect the line and see little lumps or feel little lumps, like hard spots thats a manufactors defect. Send it back to the company. Garnet
  4. If i remember correctly those trailers are welded bracketts that the bunks sit on. If you raised the front just 2 inches it would lower the back a lot. Don't think a welder would charge that much. Garnet
  5. I had Minn Kota shortened. Cost $50. Buddy retreaded the inner shaft, looked like a very fine thread and was a little tricky to get started but has worked fine for 2 seasons. Garnet
  6. You got the colors down! White and white /red fleck can be good. Size wieght use what makes it work............action to get a bite is everything you can think of. Remember to just fire it out and steady reel. Lots of times smallies want to swin up and crush a bait. Garnet
  7. Running some oil mix with the gas will protect you from oil pump failure. As Catt said a little oil is cheap. Garnet
  8. I would look at those bunks. Can you lower them, Also check the carpet maybe somebody put house carpet on the bunks and it doesn't slide so good. Garnet
  9. We are paying for high end products and recieving junk. All the solutions are enabling hook companys to not invest in there proccess. Notice over and over Gammi's and Owners with gap problems take a look at your hooks the ones that are a problem send them to the company and demand good products. Garnet
  10. Renosky was the maker. I won a walleye tourney with the photo print perch. They just look like another swimbait to me..................and I would suggest you never try them. The big problem was getting just the baits you wanted. Garnet
  11. I would get a real good idea of my boat and then study prices. You see boats listed all the time that want hugh $. My goal would be true value boat and options and condition. Biz failures, divorces and deaths happen year around. And boat sales the same. Now let the games begin............when the $ and the boat add up BUY Garnet
  12. It's just eye candy.........what evers infront of you. Garnet
  13. And sometimes the vent will tight up starving the engine. Garnet
  14. All my buddy's had 20ft Hydros they rode good in the early 90's and you could land small planes on the front deck. So 200 Venom you did say that you owned several gas stations.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Garnet
  15. Another thing trim the motor down until the motor is level. These carb motors can be cranky about that. Garnet
  16. Before the first crank push your key in 5-6 times, turn the key and step on the gas. Push the key 3-4 times and turn key and step on the gas. By the third time it should start. Thats prime the bulb first. Have you changed the spark plugs lately. Garnet
  17. Thats why I use bobber stop, Stainles bead, tungston worm wieght, glass bead. I can adjust the amount of rattle. I'm never digging for another incert rattle. Works on all Trigs and all wieghts 1/8 - 1.5 Garnet
  18. Really need to know what size boat you are looking at. Have fish out 201 Strato last year nice boat and in the early 90's another buddy had a 201. A quick search will tell you warrantty on Nitro's is a nightmare. Garnet
  19. Clean your battery post and wires and also at the starter. This motors a 91 so carbs? When you turn it over step on the gas if you have a hot foot. Garnet
  20. When it quits turn the speed up then with a a broom move the prop if it starts you have a dead spot in the motor. Adjust the brushes or have the motor replaced. Garnet
  21. My summer gig is tournaments for bass, Early spring northern Pike and walleye tourneys pus fun fish mostly buddies. I also crappie and perch fish for food spring and fall and steelhead and ice fishing in the winter. And my real deal is the stock markets. Garnet
  22. I love the area around the entrance to the boat launch. It would get a beating from me with cranks and jerkbaits. Is the lake smallies or largies? Is there much weed? Garnet
  23. Thats another, it takes half the draw to make the same pull with 24v. So if you put the 12v on half and was turning 20 times a second you would but 24v on 1/4 to turn 20/sec. I'm just guessing at the turns/sec and 36v that mush less. Garnet
  24. Parabolic has no reel backbone it just bends into a "C". Med/hev is 60/40 so the backbone is 2/3 up the rod. 70/30 is exacter fast so the backbone closer to the tip. Every rod company is a little different. You can push the rod down on the floor and get a feel for action. Garnet
  25. If you hook your batterys in parrallel you will get about 1/3 more running time. If you hook 1 up and run it down and hook the next one and run it down you will get max running time but it's very very hard on batterys. Another thing if your batterys are hooked together and 1 goes bad they are both dead quickly. Garnet
