Curious on what the current ACTUAL makeup of the site is...
I fish for prize money and get sponsor checks, but I do have a "real" job that pays my bills. In the real world I work for The Valspar Corporation. JT Bagwell

Your Dream Ride
JT, I love my Fords....if you cut me I bleed blue. Never have, or ever will own anything else....HOWEVER, we had an '06 F350 exactly like the one you have pictured. We used it to tow the race car all over the country, it got the worst mileage. 6mpg while towing....that little deisel was a total pig. 6 mpg??? OUCH!!!!! My wallet is hurting and I haven't even bought the truck yet. lol I guess I will keep my Silverado a little longer (to save up money for diesel fuel). JT Bagwell

What the heck happened???
Glenn, The girl that had that happened to her told our pastor. He in turn told all of us at church about it yesterday. I reckon it is possible that she lied to him, but I doubt it. JT Bagwell

What the heck happened???
I heard a story yesterday about a girl at one of local grocery stores telling a man Merry Christmas as she was leaving the store. He replied "you are not supposed to say that, it's not politically correct." I guess it really bothered the teenage girl because she was just being nice to the guy. It doesn't really seem like all that long ago where it was a good thing to tell someone Merry Christmas, now it is almost a crime. The whole mindset of most of our country gets on my nerves anymore. It seems like everything we say offends somebody else. With that being said, I don't care who I offend. There is no "Winter Holiday" it is called Christmas and if you don't like it, that is fine, don't celebrate it. But leave my family and friends alone if we want to celebrate and be happy. So to EVERYONE........... MERRY CHRISTMAS JT Bagwell

FLW Filled Suit on FLW Angler
It would be considered "Libel" not "Slander" because it was done in a way that can reach a very large audience (the internet). Slander is when an untruth is "spoken". My Business Law courses in college were ones I actually paid attention in. JT Bagwell

Scents for bass home made or store bought????
I have been using MegaStrike since back when it first came out. Heck I might have got some back in the testing stage. The stuff is awesome and lasts a very long time on your bait. Just think of how many more fish you could land if they just held on a few more seconds! JT Bagwell

Ice Covers The Midwest
I live in Northern Illinois and it hasn't hit my area yet. Looking at the radar screen you would think we were getting blasted, but I just had my Rottweiler outside and it is just 28 degrees and kind of foggy. It is supposed to hit us sometime after midnight. My wife is a teacher and they have cancelled school for several districts in anticipation of this storm. JT Bagwell

paint for poolside
I work for Valspar Corp. and we have a product that I used on some concrete at home (assuming it is concrete around your pool). It is call Quickrete Textured Concrete Coating. You can have it tinted (for free) to match the color of your house, garage or whatever else you want. I think it runs about $15-$20 per gallon. It is textured to provide grip too. JT Bagwell

Obituary
Here is the obituary for one of the Omaha Mall shooting victims. She is a local girl that started with Von Maur when she was in High School. (Von Maur is based here in the Quad Cities). She had an impressive work history with the store for being so young. What a sad deal for everyone. http://qconline.com/archives/qco/display.php?id=365893&query=#g JT Bagwell

Cool watches.
That is a cool watch Robert. I like nice watches too, I just can't force myself to buy most of them. I bought my wife and I, His and Hers Movado watches a couple of years ago. They cost a chunk of money but I sure like mine. My wife doesn't like hers because she has a hard time telling what time it is since it has no numbers or lines or anything. JT Bagwell

Mall shootings in Nebraska????
This store (Von Maur) is based in the area where I live. My wife actually worked there until about 3 years ago. It is pretty sad, the youngest girl killed was actually from here and she transferred to Omaha to be a manager. I just can't imagine the pain her parents must be feeling. It makes me sick when I think about how many crazy people there are these days. Here is a link to today's newspaper, pretty sad that such a young, productive live was taken. www.qconline.com JT Bagwell

Opinions on "free sponsoring" so to speak?
I don't think the scenario that you mentioned is a bad or negative one. I have been known to wear a BPS shirt (or 5) when I am out cutting wood or shopping at a guy store. I think the whole "advertising for free" thing comes into play when you are fishing competitively and pay large sums of money for tourney shirts, truck/boat decals and high dollar jackets that all have a specific logo on them. Retail sales statistics
Hey FrogTog, what's up? You are right about winter. I think it is in the low 20's and really windy here. It is so cold that my Rottweiler didn't even want to go outside to pee. I had to force him off the deck and then he did his business at about 100mph and ran back in the house. JT Bagwell
