  1. yes and I one of the folks that pays the $5.45 per/pc! oh so good though. So a 5lb bass would bring in $7,680 ....
  2. If only LMB's or SMB's would be worth this kind of money. http://www.msnbc.msn...ic#.TwW2B_KwWIU - Tate
  3. Good to see you guys pulled this together. We've have a good group going in Eastern Ma. and have had 3 get together's this year. They have all been fun fishing different lakes and exchanging information and knowledge as well as the camaraderie of our shared interest of chasing bass around the lakes. - tate
  4. There was a mix on the lures ...... I caught all of mine on a weighted and unweighted 5'' Watermellon blk/red flake Senko. I was also throwing lipless rattle cranks and some other soft plastics. If I was a betting man I'm thinking the Sluggo's produced. Grundling also produced some nice fish today .... good job Grundle! Glad to have you on-board ... Tate
  5. Good day today men! We all caught fish and some very good size ones at that. Grampa walked away with the Multi Specie award boating 7 of them, no surprise there. Grundle straightened that Heron out early with some strong catches first thing this morning and under the watchful eye of the big bird. It was alot of fun fishing with all of you again and trading stories during apres fish. The weather certainly did "dampen" this groups spirit even though at one point grundle was under his poncho like it was a tent. Another good get together for Eastern Mass III, The Saga Continues. 6. 126 is the Bellingham exit ......at top of the 495 northbound ramp turn left on 126 west .... go over 495 and HD will be on the left.
  7. I'll bring another set plus I have two poncho's on-board which are comfortable and work well. lol Grampa Tate
  8. I love it! Perfect for a weekend fishing day on Webster. tate
  9. No need for addition grub or drink if you're ok with a few barkers & burgers.

If we leave HD at 6:00 we can meet Rhino at the Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg (Webster Lake) town ramp at 6:30-6:45. There will be room for all in either Grampa's or my truck and you guys can leave your vehicles at Home Depot. All set for a little grub and chat after, no need to bring anything other than yourselves and gear. Looking forward to another fun day. Tate
  11. Still need a few others to let us know if this Sat Oct 1 will work (Webster Lake); Also it would be great to see some new faces? Grampa can make it Jigfishn can make it Tate can make it Grundle thinks he can make it

  13. Not many i cant do but I can't do the 22nd .... I'm good with the 7th or 14th How about the 7th? That is this coming Saturday...not sure if that is enough lead time for everyone though? Tate
  14. I live at the intersection of 495/109/16 in Milford and Grampa is only a couple miles away also. Rt 16 runs from Milford right to Webster so anyone that wants to ride with us is more than welcome and encouraged to do so. We'll be making the trip either way so if you can get to my house you can park there and ride with one of us. Tate
  15. X4 on the Zoom Fat Albert Grub .... Works well in one of my favorite lakes where the water is fairly clear around 12 - 14' visibility, and the bottom is mostly gravel with alot of big rocks mixed in. I prefer Watermelon and Pumpkin-seed colors. I use a 1/8oz round blk jig head. I let it fall to the bottom, then a few twitches and let it fall again. - tate
  16. Ya know we all enjoy the relaxation we get from fishing so I try not to let the knuckleheads bug me. A couple weeks ago we are on a 500+ acre lake .... my wife and I are fishing from our boat casting to a very close shoreline probably 30-40' out. Along comes six kayaker's, four go around behind us but two continue right through where we were casting and ran right over my line and lure. He could clearly see us casting but that didn't matter to him. So refusing to get mad and perhaps cast a giant triple treble hook lure his way and maybe catch the stupid hat he had on I said to him in a nice way "that I can't believe you are actually going through right in front of where we are casting" he looked at me with some confused look. I told him that if I were under way that I would have extended him the courtesy and made sure I slowed to a point of no wake and suggested that perhaps he should extend courtesy to the other folks sharing the lake with him. Complete knucklehead. Is there a "fishermen's etiquette" for this kind of stuff?
  17. hahah .... yep .... Heron as in Great Blue ..... I'm always told that I am terrible with names and I guess this fits in that category. lol
  18. Grundle you did fine .... you did all the right things ..... We all have days like that so no worry. It was fun fishing with you .... I do hope you try to make the next get together. Now about that Herring ..... he did a heck of a job! Amazing large trout. With water temps at 81 you would think the trout would be deep but that one WAS in less than a foot of water before he was lunch. - Tate
  19. Great day today men! My pleasure meeting you all and fishing with you. Looking forward to the next get together at Mashpee/Wakeby! A good fun day! - brian

Hi Mike ..... welcome aboard! Lots of great knowledge and folks on this site so I am sure you will enjoy your visits here. I have a similar story to yours in that I was also away from fishing for some time but got back into it after seeing how much fun my son and his buddies were having with it. I must say the addiction picked up where it left off. I noticed you live in Ma., I am in Milford. Not sure what part of the state you are from but a few of us from the Northeast forum are getting together this Sat at Lake Whitehall in Hopkinton Ma. You and your son are more than welcome to join us. The info is posted in the Northeast Forum if you are interested. - brian
  21. Tom I just saw this post and I wanted to say how sorry I am hear that you lost your best buddy Indy! I know how hard it is to lose a good bud like that. I know when I lost my guy Hans it was the one of the saddest days of my life. You will always have the great memories of your pal and companion Indy. Very sad indeed! BTW what a GREAT looking Boxer!! wow ... he looks terrific, very handsome and dignified! I have a 7 month old flashy, reverse brindle named Tyson. He is so awesome ... love that dog! Even though he can be a terror and home wrecker at times! Again very very sorry to hear of your loss. - brian
  22. I'm all set ..... looking forward to it. See you guys at the ramp around 6:30 - 7:00. - brian
  23. I've got a portable I will bring, not as big as one of those Coleman On The Road grills but it works fine. I'll bring some burgers, buns, catsoup and beverages.
