I'd look for a chronarch 50e or a Curado 50e. 10 or 12lb line is plenty and it palms very well because of its smaller size

Big difference with a bass heavy rod and a musky heavy rod. Would not start on braid because of line shock and the little abrasion resistance from rocks or teeth. 20lb trilene big game should be a good start

I wish they were consistant. I have 4 and they all do something different. 1 sinks head first, 1 sinks butt first, 1 suspends head down, 1 slow rises head down. Too inconsistent for me.
