Me too ..... ;D Biggest fish I have caught in-state was 8-3 and it took me two days to catch her. I spotted her about an hour before sundown one night. I fished for her blindly for about an hour after dark. Came back the next morning at sun-up and didn't catch her until about noon : I couldn't sleep that night. I thought for sure was going to finish her business and leave.

I hear you. If I went fishing tomorrow I wouldn't have the slightest clue where to begin. These spring cold fronts happen every year, but this year is ridiculous. 40+ degree differences in day time highs in just a couple days????? :-/

Shimano Compre cranking rod. Perfect for me. I initially bought the M power one, but it was just too weak for the majority of my cranking (Deep and lipless cranks 75% of the time). It had a hard time casting big cranks like DD22's and really didn't have enough backbone to rip lipless crankbaits effectively. I stepped up to the MH and I couldn't be happier. Perfect.

There used to be a game similar to that for SNES. It wasn't that extensive, but it was cool. I believe You started out as an Amateur and worked your way up to the Pro circuit. You also had to use your winnings to purchase better equipment (boats, rods, reels, line, baits, etc). Wish I could remember the name of it. It had the concept, but with what they can do with games today .... it would be incredible.

I think it has it's applications. I use it for C-rigging and slop fishing and that's it. It's a confidence thing. I know you can tie on leaders, but IMO that's just one unneeded knot and a place for knot failure.

I use 6, 10, and 12 lbs Copolymer One with 50 lbs braid I use 12 the most though

What I look for in a jig ...... First the hook MUST be sharp and good quality. Then the hook must fit the application (size and wire). Flippn' jig must have a stout hook. Finesse jigs must have a strong light wire hook for better hooksets when fishing deeper. Second is the head design ..... grass, flippn', football, finesse, etc Lastly is color and skirt. I don't know too much about the different skirts out there, but they all see to be quality in my opinion. Color is a personal preference thing. I basically use combos and variotions of 3 colors ...... green, brown, black. I also like those skirts that aren't one solid color. I don't know what they are called, but they are broken up my splotches of black. I guess there is not one "perfect" jig IMO.

That's kind of my thinking. If I am fishing deeper water I tend to opt for Gammies. I belive the slightly lighter wire is easier to drive home. Shallower water ...... Owners

I did not watch this show when it first came on ..... Why I don't know. One of my friends had the first season on DVD and I thought I would watch it to see what all the fuss was about. By the end of the first episode I wanted MORE ...... I WAS HOOKED. I ended up watching ALL the past episodes in about 3 weeks to catch up to this season. And I agree with all you guys. This is the first season where at the end of the episode I am not necessarily wanting more.

For sure. I know it's only one game, but Meche was very impressive. Maybe Dayton Moore was on to something. On the way home from fishing I listened to a radio interview of why they gave him the big contract, etc, etc, etc. He sold me even before the game. Now after the game I am completely sold.

What a day so far!!!! Went out this morning and absolutely wore them out on a Rat-l-trap. The thumb is raw!!!! Third cast of the day I landed a nice chuncky 4 lber and for about the first two hours I bet I didn't go 10 cast without a bite. I also caught about a 6 lbs catfish that I was sure was the new state record bass before I saw it. Big disappointment. Got home in time to see the bottom of the first. 1-1 in the bottom of the 2nd with the Royals threatening. Then we got the B-ball game tonight. What a day
