  1. I'm right there with you. I personally think a MH rod would be more versitile.
  2. Another Shimano posse member here. I have swerved off the Shimano path a couple times in the past few years ......... NEVER AGAIN.
  3. Very true. Reels are eye catchers and a lot more ........ "sexy" ....... than rods. For the most part a good quality rod will look and feel pretty much the same as a bad one in the store. Reels on the other hand each have a different feel and it's pretty easy with a few turns of the handle to go "I have to have this one" in store. A rod is actually something you have to go out and fish with to appreciate.
  4. Microcenter (I don't know it's a national store or not, kind of like a Comp USA) is selling the Premium model for $299 right now, the core for $199.
  5. I don't know if it's true or false, but it sounds a lot easier said than done.
  6. Unbeatable!!!!!
  7. I am getting hosed. ;D I've been watching every night and it hasn't been on yet. There have been others, that IMO haven't been as good as mine. Oh well. That's cool. Let's see the pic.
  8. I am very interested in this post as well. This on the top of my Christmas list. I've been borrowing one of my buddy's when I have been going out solo this fall. Hope you don't mind if I add to this a bit Flechero??????? ..................... What it the difference between the $100 auto/manual and the $200 auto/manual?? Seems to me they are made out of the same material and have the same buoyancy. Am I missing something??
  9. I'm going to have to look for that. Ideally I would want of big profile jig that was still light for a slow fall.
  10. I am not going to say ..... yay or nay ..... That's your decision. Just be aware of the consequences and should you chose to drink ..... BE RESPONSIBLE about it. That means NO DRIVING. Calling Mom or Dad for a ride home and being grounded is a hell of a lot better than being in jail, the hospital, or even dead.
  11. Crap .... you're on to me. Sent from Krypton with one mission. To seek and destroy all that is evil in this world. First stop ....... Columbia, MO.
  12. Question is ..... How much is this going to set you back in return???? ;D ;D
  13. I did the "chin thing" last winter and it has never left.
  14. I think the most important thing (got this from my trainer for my dog) is to only say the command once and then MAKE them do it. If you just start repeating come over and over and over again ..... everythinh you say becomes blah, blah, blah, blah. I would got back to the basics on a long leash. Do sit/lay down/stays with your 25 ft leash. Start off at short distances and then move to long distances, and then move to non-visual stay/comes (go to another room in the house or around the house outside). If the dog doesn't do it right, place them back where they should have been and do it over.
  15. Looks like a new PB to me. ;D
  16. Very true. Last year was the first year I have ever had my reels cleaned and lubed (by ReelMech), and man what a difference.
  17. Water and sleep. Over the past couple years I have become a firm believer in drinking 2 or 3 bottles of water before you go to bed. It really minimizes hang overs.
  18. OK .... you asked for it http://www.sunline.co.jp/ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  19. Are you kidding me .... I dragged it behind the boat for the last hour or so I was out there.
  20. I just have an OLD 2 MP Hewlett Packard camera my grandpa gave me. I think it was one of the first digital cameras, and I think my grandpa said he paid around $500 for it back in the day ;D. It's a great camera just to have in the tackle bag and I don't have to worry about being too careful with it. If it get's wet and ruined .... no big deal. The only bad part is when you want a picture of something like this, it probably doesn't take the best pictures. I hope to upgrade and get a nice camera by the first of the year. If you want, you can PM me your email and I'll send you the original.
  21. Nope .... sorry. Didn't put that one on the scale. She had to be all of 10 ........... grams.
