  1. Welcome to the forums. Looks like you got it figured out.
  2. Congrats! I use my old plastic baits as jig trailers.
  3. Go get it looked at. It could be any number of things causing the pain.
  4. Just be happy it's a chest cold. Hope you and your Mother are feeling better soon.
  5. I like to use the bigger worms on deep structure. I'll drop a worm with a 1/2 ounce or larger weight straight down and move it up or down, or throw out and work the bait back in.
  6. I keep most of my stuff in a BPS 370 bag. For walking around and fishing from the bank I use a Plano 1155 box.
  7. Nothing wrong with quantity as long as you throw in a toad every once in a while.
  8. I like to check the area out in the daylight before I night fish it
  9. In lilypads I like to use braid. If the line gets around a stalk the braid will cut right though it.
  10. That is a nice looking BG!
  11. Bass season is year round for me. The biggest problem for me is the weather.
  12. A lot of times it happens when I'm fishing a jig or t-rig. I get the birdnest out and find that my bait has moved. When that happens I start dead sticking.
  13. I fish some very pressured water. If I don't get skunked I consider myself lucky.
  14. That's the way to do it!
  15. Last year I was fishing a small lake and saw something sticking out of the water near a point with a drop off. I got closer and discovered it was a baby stroller. Fortunately it was empty.
  16. This is one of the times I am glad to live in the Midwest.
  17. Thanks for the review. I had one of the first gen models and sold it. Father's day is coming up and daddy's needs/wants a new rod.
  18. I went fishing Tuesday. It sprinkled off and on all morning. Most of the bigger fish were staying down in a creek bed that runs across the lake. They were definitely more active.
  19. I use the voice recorder on my cell phone. I play it back when I get home, and put the info down on a excel spreadsheet. Got the idea from someone here on the forum.
  20. I have caught most of my muskie on rat-l-traps while bass fishing.
  21. Without knowing the specifics of where you are fishing, it's hard to choose. I picked blue/black because that is the color jig I usually always start off using.
  22. There is a pond a few miles from me that I fish sometimes. If I use a black Spro I will have 3 or 4 bullfrogs after it.
