Hookset catchphrase?
"Please stay on the hook", or "don't get off".

Missing monsters
I have lost several nice ones the same way. The line has gotten behind some type of solid cover before the bass hits, and I can't get the bass over the obstruction once it is hooked. This has happened to me while fishing from bank and fishing deep water.

I bought some extra spools, and I have extra spools that came with some spinning reels. They are in a drawer in the basement.

Rods on deck
I usually bring 4 rigs. If I am fishing somewhere new, or if I know the conditions out on the water will be rough, I will bring 6 rigs.

Why Do You Fish?
I like getting out by myself, and leaving everything behind for a while. Out on the water it's just me, nature, and the bass.

I sit back and wonder what the poor suckers at work are doing.

Hybrid stripers
A few of the lakes I fish have hybrids stocked in them. They are on the smaller side, but they can still put up a good fight on light tackle.

Post front fatty
That's a nice one.

Tweaking (NOT twerking)
Sometimes when fishing a jig with a trailer I will switch the trailer if the bite is off. I usually start off matching the trailer to the jig. If that does not work I will put on a different trailer, but keep the contrast to a minimum. For example if I am using a black jig with a black trailer, and not getting any takers, I will put on a green pumpkin colored trailer.
