  1. For me natural colors like craw, greens, and browns seem to work best around weeds. When I start getting out of cover and into more open water I will switch over to a blue/black bait.
  2. I have used Stik-O's for years. They don't tear up as easy as a senko, and you can cast them a mile.
  3. You have some nice bass right there!
  4. Last year I had real good luck using a black jig with a blue trailer.
  5. Caught a bass using catfish dough bait one time. I have caught cats on crankbaits, but this was a first for me.
  6. I use white most of the time.
  7. I like a red, or craw colored lipless bait. I also have had pretty good luck with bubblegum super flukes this time of year.
  8. I use snaps all of the time with crankbaits. Much easier for me to change baits with treble hooks.
  9. Welcome back! Hope your wife is feeling better.
  10. I fished buzzbaits more last year just because of the wind. Much easier to contol and you don't have to worry about the line getting over a snag.

I use them all of the time. Smokey Joe is my favorite color in water with schools of shad.
  12. That thing could eat some of the bass I catch. Good job!
  13. Because you never know how the conditions will be until you get on the water. You may bring 10 rigs, but only use 3, or 4 of them once you get a pattern.
  14. I gave it to my wife last week. She is getting over it a lot faster than I am.
  15. It has been a cold, but fairly snow less winter where I am. I just get the feeling that before spring gets here we're going to get hammered.
  16. I'm finally starting to get over this cold. It has been hanging on for two weeks now. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
  17. The Fiat commercial, and Snickers commercial with the Brady Bunch.
  18. I trim the weed guard down so that it sticks up just over the top of the hook. After I do that I work the weed guard back and forth to limber it up. I don't know if that actually helps or not, but it doesn't seem to hurt my hookups.
  19. Net Bait Paca Craws, and Zoom Ultravibe Speedcraw are the two I use the most.
  20. Smallies on UL gear, or foul hook a carp.
  21. A self cleaning reel. Kind of like an oven. When you use it all the gunk that builds up in is forced out.
  22. Mad Max, and James Bond when he was played by Sean Connery.
  23. That stinks. I have had that happen a couple of times around brush piles.
  24. Zoom Super Chunk, Super Chunk Jr., or a Super Fluke.
  25. I have a very hard time going from crankbaits back to plastics. I always fish them way too fast, then I could kick myself for doing it.
