  1. Get the reels cleaned, reorganize the tackle bag, buy new stuff, reorganize the tackle bag again after buying new stuff, clean the rods, and finally sharpen hooks.
  2. Wire cutters for mono and fluoro. Scissors for braid, and a knife for everything else.
  3. I will usually carry a pocket knife, but I have a multi tool in the car just in case.
  4. Suddenly I like my job a whole lot more.
  5. I have been keeping logs for several years now. I usually look back and see if I can find some kind of pattern on the lake I will be fishing. Then I take those baits with me.
  6. I fell off of the wagon last week. Bought a new 370 size tackle bag, 10 new boxes for it, bag of Fat Alberts, and a mid range diving crankbait. Then I picked up my reels from being cleaned and while I was there I bought about 20 small inline spinners for crappie and trout.
  7. Lost that bait long time ago, but I have another one just like it.
  8. I have been using single bladed baits.
  9. White skirt with a silver blade, or a white skirt with a white blade.

I fish the Bitsy Flip also. Fishing from the bank, I lose some jigs. Bitsy Flips are fairly cheap and they seem to be carried in a lot of stores. When my t-rigged baits become too beat up to stay on the hook I trim them down and use them as trailers.
  11. That's a great way to start off the year, good job!
  12. Good going!
  13. Just because a bait is old doesn't mean that it won't catch fish.
  14. Well there was the time when I was out pond hopping and I lost my car keys. Luckily the car was unlocked and I could get into it. After spending an hour and a half tearing the inside of the car apart and emptying out the trunk I found my keys in my coat pocket.
  15. I've been caught in sleet, and in a hail storm.
  16. Happy Birthday, Glenn!
  17. Clean the reels, rearrange the tackle bag, and sharpening hooks. That should take me through mid February.
  18. I use the Spro Bronzeye in two colors. Black for night fishing and Green Tree for daytime. I tend to have a lot of frogs go after the black Bronzeye when I use it during the day though.
  19. Rogues work great from the bank. Just watch out for snags.
  20. Stayed home last night and watched "The Twilight Zone" on TV. I got tired on drinking until I puke, and killer hangovers, a long time ago.
  21. I tend to read a lot of fiction. Just finished up 11-22-63, by Stephen King.
  22. Happy New Year, Everyone!
  23. Big ole fish, good going!
  24. Nice looking bass!
  25. Nice going! Those are great looking fish!
