I just got a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. They said I had a virus on my computer and I needed to give them my personal information so they could remove the virus. I told them I was going to call the cops and not to call again.

In the winter when you can't get out it's always good to look back and see how you did and what baits you were using.

Congrats! Keep the electronic scale in an inside coat pocket this time of year. Mine acts up when it gets cold.

I'll probably be looking at some streams and small rivers between STL and Jeff City. Looking for some more places to catch smallies.

They have an entire website broken down by counties. Each fishing area link has a brochure and a map. I have been putting the name of the lake in Google maps and figuring the distance and the time it will take to drive there.

I anchor the boat and pay attention to where I am casting. If I am throwing into the wind, I keep the rod tip down on the cast and keep the cast short. If I am throwing with the wind I tend the let the bait fly, but I keep an eye on the line going out so it doesn't get tangled around something.

I know I have some GY, BPS, and Zoom baits. I would have to go through the bag and look. If I see something on the shelf that looks good I tend to buy it.

I have caught fish with a c-rig, but if I am using it I have not had a good day.

Holy Cow! When I first read the title of this I thought it was about catching dinks!

I'm off from work Christmas Eve, until Jan. 2. I think I will go out and locate some more places to fish. I already have been looking at Google Maps and figuring how far I will have to drive. If it is warm enough I might even wet a line or two.

Usually its either 15# Big Game or 15# Yo-Zuri Hybrid on the baitcasters and 10# on the spinning reel.

When I was a kid it was a Cordell Big-O. I caught a ton of fish on that thing. Now it is a jig.

I hooked an 8 lb. anchor one time. Brought it up with the lure knocker.

All three of my normal use baitcasters are on mh rods. My spinning reel is on a m, but I am thinking of seeing how it works with a mh rod. The only time I use a h is punching through mats, or frogging in lilypads.
