  1. 6 lbs. 2 oz. Caught on a Jitterbug back in 2009. Released.
  2. Saturday in August, 78 degrees at 6:05 AM in the morning. When the sun came up over the trees the bites turned off. If we would have gotten out to the lake later in the day I don't think we would have gotten a single bite.
  3. I caught my PB throwing a topwater over a gravel road bed. The water was probably 3 ft. deep.
  4. During windy days the advantage is at the back of the boat, IMO. The guy in the front has to fight the wind and keep the boat going straight. All the guy in the back has to worry about is casting into the wind and getting a backlash.
  5. My Dad use to be the same way. The only way he would throw a plastic bait was if he had gone through all of his favorite crankbaits without a bite.
  6. Heddon Big Bud which I have actually caught bass on. Another would be the crazy crawler.
  7. Rooster tail in snow color. I don't use it unless the bass have been turned off for a while. The bait will catch anything that can swallow it.
  8. One more vote here for the Mann's Jelly Worm.
  9. Congrats! That is a good looking bass!
  10. Fishing from the bank I'll use a c-rig or a heavy t-rig to get a feel for the bottom.
  11. I've caught a few on plastics, but so far this year most of my bass have been caught on shallow running crank baits and jigs.
  12. Take an extra pair of shoes with you. If your fishing in winter take an extra set of clothes and an extra coat.
  13. Good job, I'm still working on my first pic worthy fish!
  14. Congrats! Kids are a blast!
  15. Good job and Congrats!
  16. That's nothing to fool with. When I hear thunder I head back to the ramp.
  17. I have been catching more on crankbaits, but my favorite is a jig.
  18. I have been catching a lot of bass on solid color baits that are only one color. I think that while the color schemes work in some waters, the baits catch a lot of fishermen also.

I would start with a black trailer. If that didn't work I would try blue and then green pumpkin.
  20. Geez, those are some nice bass!
  21. Jaws and the Terminator movies.
  22. Went out yesterday morning when the rain was really coming down. Had a good time. The rain kept the weekend warriors away so I had the entire lake to myself. I boated 17 bass that were sitting about 10 feet off the bank in milfoil. After the wind started to pick up I headed back in and called it a day.
