  1. Right now it is a Mann's 1 minus brought in right across the tops of the weeds under the surface. Tomorrow it may be something else.
  2. I have never liked the taste of bass. Catfish and bluegill are more my taste.
  3. Good going!
  4. That is one bait I have never had very good luck with. I do much better with a Mepps or Rooster tail spinner.
  5. The last dog I had was a 1/2 black lab, 1/2 golden retreiver. That dog would go nuts every time it thundered.
  6. I would try for cat or crappie. Waste of time for bass.
  7. Good video. Some good stuff in there.
  8. One more for weather underground. It's a great little app.
  9. I answered worm, but I use them both about equally.
  10. A green sunfish. I know them well.
  11. As soon as you get up check the weather. You can usually get a pretty good idea of which way the storms are moving by looking at the radar maps.
  12. Wow! Now that was a fishing trip!
  13. http://video.stltoday.com/Alligator-Found-In-St-Charles-26463022?vcid=26463022&freewheel=91130&sitesection=stltoday#.U9j8QxClt1s I think that I would have wet myself.
  14. Good job!
  15. Sometimes the bass just don't want to bite anything. It happens sometimes.
  16. Last year I took my daughter out to catch some bluegill. While I was reeling one in a largemouth swallowed it. A couple of seconds later the bass opened up its mouth and spit out the bluegill out.
  17. I would do a search on the name of the virus and see what comes up.
  18. I had a muskie hit a rat-l-trap like that one time. I was hung in some grass about a foot under the surface and POW that muskie came out of nowhere.
  19. One more vote for a Pflueger President. I have owned mine for 3 years and have no issues with it.
  20. I guess I rig like everyone else, 3/0 or a 4/0 for the flukes. 5/0 or a 6/0 for the toads.
  21. I have caught bass so small that it was just hanging on to the bait and not hooked, and I have seen 8 and 9 pound bass caught on crappie baits under a bobber. I think it is more important to find water that holds those large bass first, and then worry about what bait to use.
