I use to catch them every once in a while out catfishing. I would either get the hook out with pliers or cut the line. I don't want to leave my hand near a snappers mouth any longer than necessary.

The only two colors I use on a regular basis is watermelon, and junebug. Sometimes I'll use a different color, but I always go back to those two colors.

I like to take a little run around the lake during the day just to see what is there, so I don't hit anything in the dark.

Topwater bites at night are the best! You hear a splash and feel weight on the line.

I like to catch numbers just to say that I didn't get skunked, but there is nothing like pulling a hawg into the boat.

I use to have a radio on while catfishing from the bank to listen to the ball game. I never have had a radio on while bass fishing.

There use to be beavers at one of the lakes I fish. There was always fish around that dam.

I would stay away from LOZ this time of year. Too many boaters that don't know what they are doing.

Cool story! I just rigged up my ultralight last night.

My 6-02 was caught on a black jitterbug at about 6:00 AM. I threw it out over a gravel road bed and let it sit for a few seconds. When I moved the bait, the bass hit it.

That bass really wanted that bait!

My daughters gave me a gift card to BPS, and then after dinner we went and got ice cream. In between I trimmed the hedges.
