  1. Yard and garage sales. You never know what you might find.
  2. One time I put new line on my bc. Took it outside to give a practice plug a couple of tosses, and on my first cast got a terrible backlash. While digging out the backlash I realized that I did not have the line through the line guide.
  3. Man you're lucky. That fall could have been very bad.
  4. Wow. I would not have expected an Abu reel to have these types of problems. I guess with all the manufacturers cutting back and trying to make things cheaper it was only a matter of time before this happened.
  5. You can't beat a spinnerbait in murky water. WTG!
  6. Great looking bass!
  7. Great looking bass! Congrats on the new PB!
  8. If the pond is on the shallow side, I would say use a Mann's 1 minus.
  9. Probably because they were the first cranks I can remember using, but the Cordell Big-O is my fav. I don't use them as much as the others, but it is my fav.
  10. Just rocks, wood, and weeds for me.
  11. Cool video! Makes me thirsty.
  12. For me its not so much sleeper baits, as it is older baits. I see a lot of people fishing whatever the hot bait right now, and they forget about older baits that have always worked for them in the past. Case in point, Rebel humpback cranks.
  13. Lately it has been a 1/8 jig.
  14. Thanks for the pics, Good job!
  15. Sounds like you had a great Father's Day!
  16. That is what I was going to say. Clean your glasses when the burning starts. When I get something on my glasses and then put my glasses on, it causes my eyes to burn.
  17. A weightless fluke, or weightless senko type bait. If there is some space between the top of the weeds and the water surface, you might try burning a spinnerbait, or a lipless bait, across the top of the weeds. A crank that runs shallow like a Mann's 1 minus might work also.
  18. I tend to use a fish finder on a new lake to learn the layout of it. I usually won't use a fish finder on a lake once I have the bottom structure down and I know where the cover is located.
  19. When I start pulling that stuff in, I move somewhere else.
  20. Happy Father's Day everyone, have a blast today!
  21. Take it easy and get well. That lunker will still be out there with your name on it.
  22. I've always snagged them.
