  1. Holy Cow! Nice looking bass there.
  2. Muskie. I don't know how many times they have bitten the skirt off of a jig, or spinnerbait. Sometimes I wonder if they know what they're doing.
  3. You caught some nice fish, and had a good trip. WTG!
  4. Nice bass! Do you ever strain yourself lifting all those hawgs?
  5. I heard one time that after a tourney the fish were tagged and then released. The bass made their way back to the area where they were caught, but I don't remember what the timeframe looked like.
  6. About four years ago I was casting a spinnerbait under a low hanging tree limb. I hooked the tree, and couldn't get the spinnerbait to come out. Now we were about 50 ft. away and started moving to the tree, and we started hearing some buzzing. Turns out that there was a hornet's nest on the limb I hooked. Needless to say we didn't go after the spinnerbait. After about a minute of pulling on the bait it finally came loose and dropped into the water.
  7. You had a day to remember!
  8. A1/8 chart. marabou jig under a floater. If that doesn't work, a white 1/16 rooster tail.
  9. I use a heavy, but that is just me. The extra muscle is not always needed, but it's nice to know you have it just in case.
  10. Interesting. I would have never thought of that.
  11. I like the Pop-R also. For a small bait it seems to catch larger fish.
  12. My wife used to wear my T's. After a while when the T's started looking ratty, she stopped.
  13. The big problem I have while bank fishing with high water is that the water gets up into the bushes that use to be behind me. Now those bushes are blocking me from getting to the lake.
  14. We had a situation like this a couple of years ago where I live. As long as the lot was vacant, or being built on it was ok to fish there. Once the house was built we were told that we would have to check with the owners of the property.
  15. Have a pair of pliers and a pair of wire cutters. A knife for everything else. I don't like multitools because if you drop it overboard or lose it, you have lost all of your tools.
  16. Good luck and get well soon. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
  17. Be glad that it wasn't a skunk. I went out to go to work the other day and froze in my tracks. I smelled it, but I didn't see it.
  18. Nope. She doesn't question my spending for fishing, and I don't question her purchases on clothes.
  19. Nice looking bait. It looks like it would draw a reaction strike if nothing else.
  20. You've got some nice bass there, good job!
  21. That is a cool story.
  22. Long time ago I used a net all of the time while catfishing. I don't think that I have ever used one while bass fishing.
  23. I have two. The first time I took each of my daughters fishing.
  24. I use black and black/red a lot in murky water, and sometimes in stained water if the fish want that color. In clear water I will use natural looking colors.
  25. Racoon was probably checking to see what trash can he was going to hit next.
