  1. Another Watcher.
  2. You got me good!!
  3. I always were the same cap, and never take any pictures until the first fish has been caught.
  4. Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap, and the Cordell Super Spot.
  5. You guys had a great time. Thanks for the vid's.
  6. I cast right/reel right with a baitcaster, and cast right, reel left with spinning gear.
  7. In my area it would be a Rat-l-trap, or a jig.
  8. I switch to a bigger weight in the wind, but a bigger weight tends to get stuck more when you're working it along the bottom. When the weight gets stuck, don't pull it, tighten up the slack and raise the rod up high and pull easy. This will help the weight get over the rock, tree, stump, etc.
  9. I keep asking my two daughters if they would like to go down to the community lakes and catch some bluegill or crappie, but they would rather go shopping with my wife. I guess I'll just have to ask my nephew if he wants to go.
  10. 4.75 pounds on a deep diving humpback rebel. It was down at Lake Of the Ozarks. It was overcast and I was fishing around a gravel road bed.
  11. I fish from both, but I do not own a boat so I marked bank.
  12. Good stuff in here. Very interesting results.
  13. I used to use a clinch, now I tie everything on with a palomar knot.
  14. I forgot to mention to hold your rod tip up high and start cranking as soon as the bait hits the water.
  15. You need either a fast retrieve reel, or a smaller lipless bait. If the weeds are around 4 to 5 feet below the surface then I'll use a 1/2 ounce size rat-l-trap. If the weeds are just under the surface to about 1 foot deep I'll switch over to a fast reel with a quarter ounce rat-l-trap.
  16. learn drop shot. work on my flippin and pitchin. organize my baits better. I don't know how many of these I will accomplish, since my wife has some different goals lined up for me.
  17. Years ago I had a pair of grey polarized lenses that worked pretty good, but I don't remember who they were made by. Now I have a pair of eyeglasses that turn dark in the sunlight.
  18. I'd probably go after one of those novelty lures, like the old Heddon Big Bud.
  19. I tried this back in Dec. I was probably doing something wrong, but it was a real pain trying to get the hook through the eyelet of the sinker. I normally t-rig my tubes but next time out I am going to try the weight inserted into the tube.
  20. The dinks I lift up with the rod. Anything of any size I lip.
  21. I'll throw a 1/2 spinner near cover or into it if I think I can get it out without hanging up. I let it sink down to the bottom and then slow roll it back up with a twitch now and then. Most of the time I will throw white or Chart color spinner.
  22. Welcome to the BR forum.
