  1. Title Shot jig heads... https://www.jigfish.com/product/title-shot/ oe
  2. One rod and only enough tackle I can carry it and fish at the same time... oe
  3. A little WD40 keeps mine pretty rust free...
  4. Back packs are too difficult to reach tackle while standing crotch deep in the H2O... smaller sling bags work better for my fishing. oe
  5. "Big John" worm head made by Gopher Tackle was (and still is) my go to exposed hook point jig head. The hook is a 2/0. Obviously I don't "Ned rig fish", but I am all about finesse... oe
  6. Use a darning needle to run a straight pilot channel down your baits, your hooks will follow in the channel more easily... oe
  7. Title Shot jig heads or nail weighted plastics. As mentioned above, lightest weights possible.
  8. fuzzy isn't a problem, but if you see a frayed fiber or two cut above the frayed portion... oe
  9. Correct me if I've overlooked them... I don't see any spinnerbaits. oe
  10. 1/4 - 3/8 oz spinnerbaits will throw better on a Medium power rod, just saying... oe
  11. My natural retrieve cadence is slower with a spinning reel than it is with a casting reel... adrenaline speeds both up significantly. I prefer my reel's IPT to be between 24" and 28". oe

  15. Supreme XT has a much better (smoother) drag...
  16. 2- Abu Premiers 2nd Gen, Pixy 68, Lew's BB1 "rachet reverse", 2- Morrum 1601c mags, 6- original Techna Av rods, 3 Aetos rods, various HMG rods... nothing in this list I paid more than $100 for. Do your research, decide EXACTLY what you want IN ADVANCE and be very patient -- there are bargains to be taken advantage of. The mentioned rods were all new from stores, the reels were all in very good condition from on-line swap pages... everything I use today and am very happy with! oe
  17. Perhaps the keel weighted hook has a dampening effect on the roll of your bait... The weight/hook will have an impact on how the bait moves. oe
  18. Cover dictates whether I fish a swim bait on an exposed point jig head or Fin-Tech Title Shot head oe
  19. The length of my wingspan oe
  20. Now that we've got this settled... flat side up or down on a fluke?... oe
  21. only carry one these days, MaxScent Lunchworm, Most of the time I cut 1" off the head. oe
  22. Bass and Walleye will eat the bugs directly... oe
