  11. Nice pond u got there!
  12. Im guessing if the LMB are sitting at one spot at not biting, they are spawning. I use a 3" grub or crayfish imitator t rigged to catch spawning bass. Cast a little further than where the bass r sitting and reel in extremely slowly. Drag the lure along the bottom and pause 10 seconds for every twitch when your lure is on the nest. The bass will pick it up and wait 1 second for it to eat it then set the hook.
  13. Many members on the site recommend using a wacky rig to fish small bass. Th pond im fishing has a rocky bottom full of branches and plants. Is there a weedless wacky rig? Im probably wacky rigging a 5" shaky worm, do you think it'll catch bass thats about a foot long or longer?
  14. Its a finesse worm i believe. Its a berkley 5" shaky worm.
  15. btw the pond range from 2 to 4 feet deep
  16. I went fishing today... Bass are just entering post spawn period now around the pond. I saw 3 beds the other day, and all of them are now empty. Tried 5" berkley watermelon shaky worm with no hits. Switched to Yum's 3" green pumpkin grub, got 1 hit no hook ups I used a 3/0 hook. What should i try next time? I'll try to get some spinners next time i visit the tackle shop. But as of now, i have 5" watermelon shaky worms, 3" greenpumpkin grub, 3" berkley tiger power grubs, crankbaits from 2"-4", 2" swimbaits, 2" grubs, 3" berkley trout worms. 1.5" white tubes.

  19. Im using a 5" berkley powerbait shaky worm. The bass dont hit top water now, they are either looking for mate or bedding. The pond im fishing is only 2-4' deep
  20. thanks guys. I'll use a 3/0 hook instead. Does jigs get hung up alot? The pond i fish in have some heavy cover during summer.

  22. Hi! im fishing this pond with pretty small bass, mostly 1-3 pounders. Do you guys think a 5" plastic worm rigged Texas (weightless) on a 4/0 worm hook is small enough to catch 1 pounders?
  23. Yep! im hooked now. Forcing myself not to go back anytime soon... lol because there arent much fish in there and they are spawning, so trying not to stressed them too much.
