  1. I've been wondering about Chris too. I hope everything is alright. He's a great contributor to the forums.
  2. I think what sets BR apart is that it isn't the "boys club" that many fishing forums are. There is more of a family atmosphere here. Women, and especially children, are encouraged to participate. While BR is always going to be predominatly a group of grown men, the family atmosphere leads us to protect the forums in much of the same way we look after our homes. Yes, the mods have to step in from time to time to police the forums, but for the most part, us average Joe members fight for the family we have grown to love. The leadership, vision, and guidelines for use of BR make it clear that this is, and will continue to be, a family forum.
  3. Funniest thing I've read in a while! Thanks RW!
  4. Glenn, I agree with your "downhill" assessment. But, this team didn't go downhill when Manning got hurt. They fell off a cliff. I'm no fan of the Colts, but Manning's absence has shined the light on just how great of a football player he is. I hope he comes back and we get to see him play for a few more seasons. By the way, I enjoy watching all great players (as long as they don't play for the Redskins). Go Cowboys!
  5. Brady? He's that really good quarterback whose team continued to win when he was injured. No doubt he's great, but he's playing for a great team. This season is showing us where the Colts greatness lies: In Manning.
  6. The NFL should go back and retroactivly award Manning with the MVP award for the past 10 seasons. He is, no doubt, the biggest difference maker in the league.
  7. Shhhhhh.....I hear black helecoptors.
  8. The lady looks and acts crazy, but she has an excellent voice.
  9. More often than not, when I find myself beating a dead horse, it's because I know I'm wrong but am too prideful to admit it. You admited that what Wellman did was "against the rules" (aka: wrong). This horse is dead.
  10. Great to see you back! From the looks of your profile picture, you've been catching some nice ones!
  11. We've lost a great leader. I don't own any of his products, but like everyone else I am effected daily by his innovation.
  12. Packers fans remember Favre's 3-touchdown games, but they remember his 3-interception games, too. Favre and Romo are cut from the same cloth. They're both tough, athletic, gunslinging quarterbacks, who have a tendency to make poor decisions that cost their teams wins. That's what Favre was. That's what Romo is. I just hope Romo can lead us to a few playoff runs before he retires.....then comes back.....then retires again.....then comes back again.....then.....well, you get the point!
  13. As a fan, I don't always like the fact that he is the (immediate) future of our franchise, but it is a fact.
  14. The Cowboys are 2-2. Good Tony showed up twice. Bad Tony showed up twice. He reminds me a whole lot of his idol Brett Favre. Oh well, I guess we've got to take the bad with the good.
  15. I'll play: Danny Devito
  16. That's the right action, in my opinion. I'm glad he agreed to sit out the Classic. It would have been selfish to give the sport's most sacred and viewed event a black eye.
  17. Their hashbrowns make up for anything they don't have. Best use of the potato ever.
  18. As for me and my house, we will not eat at a pancake house that harbors terrorists. From now on, we're chowing down at the Waffle House.
  19. I agree. If Wellman wants to make this right he can humbly forfeit his spot in the Classic. This will get a lot of people off his back, and probably help him regain a little of the respect he has lost over the past few weeks from sponsors and fans.
  20. If the guy's stomach was messed up before, imagine its response when the FBI agents stormed the plane with guns drawn and arrested him!
  21. To forgive someone dosn't always mean to dismiss their actions with no consequences. I think Bronzeback did the right thing.
  22. What a game to get things kicked off!
  23. You're a man of integrity. I'd be honored to fish with you.
  24. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's get this thing started!!!!!!!!!!
