Killer Fish

Gated and no entrance without checking in with the gaurd. Besides one other guy that fishes the lake once every couple of months, I'm the only one that fishes the lake. Did you guys check out the pics with tagged fish? All the fish in the photos were tagged.

I was given a quick disconnect by a buddy because my TM plug broke. I plan on connecting it but I'm not sure if the quick connect cables are compatible with whats there now. I have 6 gauge running from the batteries to where the old switch was and what ever is standard for 12V 42lb thrust TM. Here is a picture of the quick disconnect. Thanks

I'm interested to know how you guys/gals work Jerk baits. I just started using them and I'd like to know if I'm working them right or wrong. I use a Stradic 2500 on a 7' MH Fast Action Shimano rod, on 20lb PowerPro with a Yozuri Hybrid 15ld leader, tied line to line and a Rapala Knot at the lure. I give the reel a quarter turn for every jerk in a non stop action (I'm constantly jerking the bait). Every so often, I may give it a pause. I hope that gives you an idea of what I'm doing. Thanks

I have a Rapala that i think isn't accurate. I've weighed eveything in my pantry and it's reading 10oz when the box says 1lb. Is it worth sending it back to Rapala or should I go out and spend the money?

Thanks.. Those Peacocks are real fun. I've never caught a Small Mouth but I hear they pull real hard. I wonder pound for pound who wins out?

We started the day out at 6:15am. I was doing very well with Strike kings 3X 5" stick worm is different colors. At around 10:30 we notice a ton of surface strikes so we make a B-line for the action. It turns out they were Peacocks. My buddy hooked up with two and two LM and I landed 1one P and three LM. I caught my fish on a Strike King Wild Shinner suspending jerk bait. This is when the fun stated. They were killing it. Check out a couple of pics. Total fish for the day, over 50 4 lber I've done this several times but never this size and my buddy caught the third fish ;D
