Best technique/bait during cold front?
Keepin_It_Reel. You took the words out of my mouth. A mid depth crankbait, Chart/Blue Back, in 6ft of water all around the Cypress trees has produced for me in all frontal conditions. Knocking those Cypress knees drives them crazy!!!!

Should I stay or should I go?
Yep. I'm glad I went. The bruises from ya'll twisting my arm to go will eventually go away. ;D

Should I stay or should I go?
It was a good day. I tried a different area to no avail. I went to where I had been catching them and caught 3, bang, bang, bang on a Bill Norman crankbait. Water Temp topped out at 61 degrees.

Should I stay or should I go?
Banks Lake in Lakeland Georgia. That's where they filmed the movie "Gator" with Burt Reynolds in the early 70's. It's about a 25 minute run from Valdosta, Ga.

Should I stay or should I go?
Rw. Its tough to fish at the lake I go to when it's a clear blue sky. You see the picture of the Cypress Lake on my posts. Average 6ft. No real drop offs. Slowly tapers to the edges. Post front. A storm just passed yesterday. What do you think?

It's cool. We Bass Fishermen now have a shot at being an athlete.

thunderstorms in the forecast, do you fish?
I can do rain. I don't do lightening. That's too dangerous. Being in a boat is worse than standing under a tree during lightening. I'll wait it out at the dock. Some of my best fishing days was in the rain. Plus, I have an aluminum Bass Tracker.

Ike #6 Hated Athlete
Roger. Especially when a lot of money is on the line. I have seen a lot of other Pro's scream before Ike came along. He just gets pumped and enjoys what he's doing.

I agree Roger.

Do I have a problem???
I agree. My wife would go with many anytime I ask her. She really is not into fishing, she just likes to be where I'm at. She has a tendency to get motion sick, but only if the boat rocks a lot. You have to get your family involved. You also need to do things they like sometimes. Getting the wife involved adds up to more time on the water.

Ike #6 Hated Athlete
Hey. The Bass Pro's that don't like Ike feel intimidated and threatened by his talent.

Do I have a problem???
There must be a lot of single guys on this forum. That much time on the water would stress my marriage. Sorry guys, but if I ever had to choose, I would choose my wife.

Should guides fish?
I agree with Triton.

Are BIG Bass Smart?
I think the older they get, the more leary they get after seeing lure after lure. I wonder sometimes if they start equating a trolling motor sound to danger?

Who is the better fisherman?
My fishing partner and I caught 10 fish at 60lbs once. We were culling out 4 pounders. 5 to 9 pounders. That was a Sluggo day. When they first came out. What an awesome day that I will never forget. We never repeated that again. We released them all to fight another day.

Who is the better fisherman?
The one who gets a consistent 5 fish limit. Now if you are comparing 5 fish limits. The bigger fish, 5 fish limit wins that one.
