  1. There are articles on here on fishing Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall. Read, read, read, then fish, fish, fish.
  2. Keepin_It_Reel. You took the words out of my mouth. A mid depth crankbait, Chart/Blue Back, in 6ft of water all around the Cypress trees has produced for me in all frontal conditions. Knocking those Cypress knees drives them crazy!!!!
  3. Yep. I'm glad I went. The bruises from ya'll twisting my arm to go will eventually go away. ;D
  4. Avid. Your weather should be better than mine right?
  5. Yankee. Spring will get up there soon.....
  6. It was a good day. I tried a different area to no avail. I went to where I had been catching them and caught 3, bang, bang, bang on a Bill Norman crankbait. Water Temp topped out at 61 degrees.
  7. I caught 3 keeper bass and 1 Pike.
  8. I'm loading up the boat now. I'll be leaving shortly.
  9. Banks Lake in Lakeland Georgia. That's where they filmed the movie "Gator" with Burt Reynolds in the early 70's. It's about a 25 minute run from Valdosta, Ga.
  10. Rw. Its tough to fish at the lake I go to when it's a clear blue sky. You see the picture of the Cypress Lake on my posts. Average 6ft. No real drop offs. Slowly tapers to the edges. Post front. A storm just passed yesterday. What do you think?
  11. Current Air Temp is 53. Barometer 30.07 and rising. Bright blue skys. Wind N 7mph. Expected high is 64. Time now is 10:22 AM EST. Should I go? Hmmmmmmm.
  12. It's cool. We Bass Fishermen now have a shot at being an athlete.
  13. Speech, speech RW. Just kidding. It's guys like that, that make this forum so awesome.
  14. I can do rain. I don't do lightening. That's too dangerous. Being in a boat is worse than standing under a tree during lightening. I'll wait it out at the dock. Some of my best fishing days was in the rain. Plus, I have an aluminum Bass Tracker.
  15. Roger. Especially when a lot of money is on the line. I have seen a lot of other Pro's scream before Ike came along. He just gets pumped and enjoys what he's doing.
  16. I agree. My wife would go with many anytime I ask her. She really is not into fishing, she just likes to be where I'm at. She has a tendency to get motion sick, but only if the boat rocks a lot. You have to get your family involved. You also need to do things they like sometimes. Getting the wife involved adds up to more time on the water.
  17. Hey. The Bass Pro's that don't like Ike feel intimidated and threatened by his talent.
  18. There must be a lot of single guys on this forum. That much time on the water would stress my marriage. Sorry guys, but if I ever had to choose, I would choose my wife.
  19. I agree with Triton.
  20. I think the older they get, the more leary they get after seeing lure after lure. I wonder sometimes if they start equating a trolling motor sound to danger?
  21. My fishing partner and I caught 10 fish at 60lbs once. We were culling out 4 pounders. 5 to 9 pounders. That was a Sluggo day. When they first came out. What an awesome day that I will never forget. We never repeated that again. We released them all to fight another day.
  22. The one who gets a consistent 5 fish limit. Now if you are comparing 5 fish limits. The bigger fish, 5 fish limit wins that one.
