  7. Hey GlassMan, you sound like me. 50 next month, took some time off fishing, raised one kid , two to finish up. I too got back into fishing. Thought I knew alot about the sport until I started getting into these forums:)) Just sit back, take advantage of this forum and learn like I am trying to do. I am in California, sorry can't help you much there. Best of luck! Tight lines...got that right! ;D

  9. Yes, and t rigging is texas rigging.
  10. Good articles, JT! I find your advice vey enlightening, indeed. I am new to this forum (I found Bass Resource through google..the best fishig site i have found on the internet! Looking forward to learning more from you and the others this year as I try to tackle the clear lakes of northern California. Moved here from Indiana back in '97 and hadn't done any fishing since then until last year..do you believe it? Bought a small boat and "re-investing" in fishing gear and knowledge. My how the techiques and tackle have changed!! I still have a 1987 Shimano GT 2000 bantam that I just tore down and cleaned, greased and lubed over the weekend, along with my other 12 reels...what a job. But it was relaxing and I am getting the urge to hit the water as soon as it warms abit. If you or anyone has any ideas about the clear lakes and best fishing techniques, I am all ears! Thanks! :-X
