  1. I agree, for their size a smallie fights a good fight. But you hook into a nice size striper and you have a good fight on your hands.
  2. I have a two great Little Johnny jokes from the 60s but I can't post them as it is not appropriate. Funny, but not appropriate.
  3. Great line. The "show" is heating up. With Stewart going bonkers and now Waltrip taking a pot-shot at Gordon the 500 should be a lot of fun. Is it pay-back time from last year? Stay tuned and we will see.
  4. Umbasser, I know you know what that word means. Anyone who watches the weather knows what that word means. Even people around State College know what that word means. It means a drought.
  5. It is very upsetting when this news is reported. No ryhme or reason for it. Let's hope everyone is OK with no long term physical problems.
  6. Hey Bugman, Good question but as usual, difficult answer. Ike's, VanDam's, Houston, Daves and Parker's productions are excellent. So for me to tell you which ones I like is impossible for I like all of them. Now, to discuss which "types" of videos you like best, such as techniques, baits, sonar, rivers, lakes, the bass itself, comedy, etc. may be a better method of asking which ones we like best. I have learned from all of them and will keep purchasing them to continue my education. Now, with that said, I llike all of the VanDam, Ike and Daves videos and DVDs along with Parker, Houston, Roland, Auten, Brauer, Hite, Lau and a lot more.

RICO. Good size and great pop. Easy to work and it catches fish. Shad color is favorite with white feather tail. Give 'em a try.
  8. Be sure to send us the results of your fishing adventures this year and some pics, too. Keep on posting!!!!!

No problem. Had not noticed any problems with your posts. Keep on posting. You keep the guys straight...sometimes. ;D
  10. Great picture. Especially with you holding your personal best. ;D

I think you are onto something. Like the new allegatiions of a JFK love child. Is Muddy right?
  12. In answer to your query, it seems that, by looking at the posts on this forum, the bass are in Lake Avid.

Fantastic. BR member does good! We all send our best for a good tournament and hopefully a top finish, if not a win. God Speed, Marcia.
  14. This sounds like a fantastic event. Do you charge by the table or a percentage of sales?
  15. Uncle. Although it was saltwater fishing in the Louisiana marshes and the Mississippi Sound it was great fishing.
  16. Call and speak to a rep at Bass Pro Shop. They know boat covers and will be very helpful. As for the cost? It depends on the type of cover and the material makeup. Give BPS a call, as previously suggested, and listen to their advice and quote.
  17. Yikes! Don't even think about it. And you may need to practice driving with a boat and trailer behind you as your stopping distance will increase so you have to be extra careful. I know it may be expensive but please have the trailer hitch and light package installed by a professional. Or at least a guy who knows what he is doing. It is always better to be safe than sorry and a trailer loaded with any type of watercraft can be very dangerous on the road if you do not know what you are doing. And we want you to grow up, go to college, get that degree and pay a lof of F.I.C.A. as we have previously discussed.
  18. Plus what the guys said...it is fun to watch the screen in color. I am waiting for the high definition units to be released.
  19. Usually largemouth but do fish for smallmouth in the Historic James River's Pony Pasture and the upper James. Caught my last bass of 2007 on a buzzbait from a dock adjacent to the American Legion Post on the James River, about a quarter mile from Robious Landing. It was a smallmouth and it hit my buzzbait. Don't know who was more surprised. Me or the bass. ;D
  20. Matt, I listened to the hearing on XM radio today and I agree with what you are saying. I had no idea of the party affiliation of the Congressmen but that may explain the questioning. Thanks for sharing.
  21. So that explains why it is all screwed up.

Haven't seen it but will be on the lookout for it as I travel across the state. However, with that said, I am supposed to be on a diet so I probably will not order it. But thanks for the post. Let us have your Restaurant Report on it, soon.
  23. Times Two. Actually, times One-Thousand. Make sure they are stainless if possible.
  24. Be sure to post the web site where we can go to see all of the stuff. It should be extremely interesting. And who do you work for that you have this opportunity?
  25. I listened to about an hour of testimony today and it was extremely interesting. Which guy to you think has the most creditability? This should be interesting, especially now that the FBI has the needles and bandages with DNA on them. I guess this is what happens when you link up with a sleeze ball.
