60° hook eye tube jighead
Tanks for the clarification I been reading it on diff ones including bps new one which reminds me. Of stupid rig like I said use weedless tube heads it helps some but no matter what getting snagged happens but problem with the limestone is the little ledges within slab rock even popping it usually just digs it in deeper

60° hook eye tube jighead
Small jaw we fish the same waters then middle susky and local creeks and sometimes the juniata but off topic how do you make dragging heads I see confidence and winco makes them but confidence is way to pricey do you modify the do it mold? I would love to be able to make them myself

60° hook eye tube jighead
So this is probably a dumb question but what makes the 60 better then the 90 understand how 90 would be better for jigging nut I where I fish tubes exposes hooks plus slab limestone equals a ton of snags especially since u lvoe to drag tubes but they the 60 is better in Rocky areas just curious to why or how

tips for fall Smallmouth bass
Yeah I'm thr same way when I see them leave their summer haunts in riffles tail waters anything like close to current and shift off into the deep pools and as for baits spinnerbaits can be deadly and topwater bite is even better for me around my area

Smallmouth Gear
That water you just described gave me. Goosebumps almost of all my fish have came from wing dams or riffles holding in Eddie's and the second they get into that current they dig and run for it to the o.p I know guys who throw light gear on hard charging smallmouth you gotta let them do their runs the bigger ones tire easier then the small ones in my. Experience and those same little ones will feel like a freight train running
-
Smallmouth Gear
Spankey I agree I noticed the bigger smallmouth will surge a little near the surface but dive bomb rapids trying to get away same with musky them boys will rip line off your spool in a flash same with big smallies I've only ever had one over 3# jump more then once most of thr big ones look for current or log jams

Gamma touch fc on spinning reel

-

Phoenix bass recon and m1 question
So it sound alike the recon all and all is a decent rod for the money and I would mainly be throwing need rigs weightless trick worms and other small baits along those lines with max weight being an 1/8oz weight but more so 1/32 1/16 etc along with soft plastic baits and the 6'8 was the length I was interest in too ironically
-
Phoenix bass recon and m1 question
See that's what I'm shooting for but length will have to be on the shorter end where I fish skinny waters quiet often but the recons might be the one I look. More into if they fish like the champions for roughly 60$jsh cheaper

Phoenix bass recon and m1 question
So I'm on thr hunt for spinning rod for creek and river smallmouth and was looking at the phoenix rods stated above so my question is the light rods those weight ratings seem well high for a light rod so I was wondering if anyone who owns or used either one do they handle those weight baits easily or is it more fish like a ml maybe a m in certain brands part of me is still leaning towards dobyns champ series or maybe the new st croix legend tournament bass granted major price tag differences so probably more along the lines of dobyns
-
Smallmouth Gear
I have both medium and ml rods and I will agree sometimes the ml is underpowered for some susky smallies but other times is like others said about drag what I do when using ml is usually have my drag on the looser end and let them make there runs then slowly starting take up the drag I've landed musky on smallmouth gear granted it took 15 minutes just about playing them right I've had some smallies man handle me with even stouter gear

New Spinning rod & reel
I right now run a mojo 6'8 mxf the shorter rod cause I wade skinny waters still great multipurpose rod b u out thinking about jumping to dobyns due to fishankamp hard goos things about the fury as for reels ive tried multiple brands except daiwa and always went back to shimano but can't go wrong with either on my opinion as of now I run 15# suffix 832 with pline fluro clear leader which I usually put abouy 5-6' that way I'm not constantly retying a leader

Rods so it consist of wp crippled killer a popper small pad crasher regular pad crasher and popping pad crasher swim jog and a vibrating jug sadly ifs a 3" tube so I had to be able to squeeze them into that luckily if I need anything there's the Tampa bass pro close by Soft plastics some craws swim baits bitters u vibe bitters 7" curly tail senkos a few tubes for good measures I tried to compress it all into a gallon ziplock bag

Late summer Florida bass
Turf thank you so much that honestly helped a lot on narrowing down my bait choices a whole lot which is good for me and also those presentations let me lack less overall with terminal tackle I do know I had luck in the bama bug color or the general as bps limes to call it just tough to find stick baits in that color i noticed
