Good rod match with curado k?
Funny you say that u was at my field and stream, and ironically they had a 6'10 mh exage and I forget the curado length. The odd thing was the handle of the curado felt so short for the length which was I think was 7ft. I might run back and get the exage ha. Of courseb all the thesd sales on when I'm supposed to be buying gifts. Luckily for me November raked in a ton of ot for me ha.

Good rod match with curado k?
So with the sale on the curado k (8:5:1) I got I figured might as well get a rod to pair it up with. Now comes the problem I fish mainly moving waters a lot of times out of kayak or wade so a goos multi purpose rod would be nice. Any recommendations on a rod in the 150 range would you match up with? I'm thinking along the lines of 7ft mh f rod and use my other casting reel for strictly cranking duties with a cranking rod.

Kistler helium-3 lmh spinning rod question
So with the sale going on thr rods went quickly. I could get a medium power mag2 for a decent price,or a helium 3 for a little bit more. The only thing it's a lmh power so I'm. Curious does anyone have one or use one? How wwll does it handle light baits its rated 3/16-3/4. I was curious about say 1/8oz shakey heads tubes etc.

That's funny you say that I was on another forum saying same thing. How is it that a tackle shop can do 50% byt the company will only do 30%?

They're a great group of guys there very knowledgeable and helpful. and for a smaller building it's packed to the walls with a lot of tackle you won't find in any place locally but there. I'll tell you this bass fest 2018 which I'm assuming will happen best time to go. Lots of items on sale, giveaways and pros and reps. My profile pic with my hero mark Zona was at this year's bass fest.

Heddon Torpedo Rolling Over?
Like everyone else said play with the props, also change up the retrieve. There's something about the baby torpedo (3/8oz)the smallies go crazy for around here. The one they seem to respond most to is cast it out let the ripples fade, then slowly do small side sweeps. This will pull the torpedo forward and depending on how you have the props it might only move a few inches.

Those are pretty nice rods, and knowing they are made by the man himself and nfc. How do you guys think they stack up to the shimano g loomis GLx nrx?

It is the 2017 models with the old reel seat. It seems finally st croix ltb across the boards are going to be marked down quite a bit. Im debating if I take gamble go there instead of doing st croix website. I have my eye on 3 rods 2 spinning and a casting rod. So the question becomes which one or maybe both

River Smallmouth in Sub 40 Degree Water
Well in my case for my. Local moving waters, hard to beat suspending jerkbaits. I let them. Drift after I get them to the depth I want. Also a tried and true classic black and blue tube when I say Slowly dragged, it takes me minutes to retrieve it. Like others said the number of fish won't be there but quality is. Also depending on your area sometimes you'll catch monster trout on bass tackle.
