  1. No problem at all, I do fish a spot in the summer time that is heavy with grass, and I mean i try to target above them and work down current. That might be an option for you unless you're doing that now. Are they thick patches floating down? The other thing you could look for is before a riffle of there are larger rocks. They seem to do a good job of "filtering" the clumps by that I Mena it seems to pile up on the leading edge of the rocks. In my experience those spots will usually hold at least one good fish, they create enough of an eddy to makeit a prime time spot.
  2. The one part of a creek I fish is the same way. summertime it's grass fields and now its all dying off. I use braid with a leader which kinda helps "cut" through it some but not a whole lot. The other thing I do is target current seams or riffles. For the most part they are pretty clear and any grass that does come by is quickly gone. Sorry couldn't be much more help, I'm dealing more with the leaves then grass for the most part.
  3. Like everyone else said let the fish tell ya. Right now you can do aggressive retrieves usually start with a jerk jerk pause, then go from. There. When winter hits and the water temp drops the way that works for me is suspending jerks, middle of water column, and let them just drift in the current. That's for moving waters like creeks or rivers, around here yoi get the surprise monster trout that spilled out of the trout creeks and streams into the main bodies.
  4. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get those molds? They look incredible and I really like the color scheme on the *** impact.
  5. Hey small jaw I'm gonna send you a dm wanna make an order.

  7. It's funny reading old articles a lot of guys mentioned their Baits which led me on my search. I like the choices of baits and especially the colors offered. Looks like I'm gonna have to order some of their baits.
  8. Toxic thank you. I for whatever reason expected a website called Case plastics ha. That website was always the first hit, now it makes sense

That's some high end brand stuff there. I'm a goose hunter myself and all too familiar with drake and banded. Might have to order some new bulbs from there thanks bt for a new website.

Yeah I'm narrowing it down slowly but surely. If I can find either Sims or Patagonia on clearance I'll deff jump on it. The price for those brands is just outrageous for some of the prices I'd rather buy loomis rods ha

Jfrancho I'm the same way that's my only requirement. Bag of donuts my girlfriend has breathable and I like them so much more then mine. There so much more flexibility, neoprene I feel like Ralphie from Xmas Story. Have any of you guys heard of compass 360? Theirs seem pretty nice for a decent price. http://www.basspro.com/shop/en/compass-360-deadfall-bap-stocking-foot-chest-waders-for-men And I like the "bap" aka big a** pocket

Ups thank you for that heads up ha. I just got the field And stream flash sale. Email, and ironically their waders were on the list. Looks like I'll be avoiding those ha I might get breathable and just layer accordingly gives me more options. Only thing is I still gotta pick one ha which is the toughest part.

Thanks everyone for the inputs so far. My old pair were redhead brand with stocking foot. They held up pretty good for a few years, but like anything with heavy use fell apart. And op eagle I keep checking there a lot actually ha. I found out about that website thru this forum. Im hoping bps or cabelas or one of them will have a waterfowl sale and maybe get a decent pair. Luckily I have bps 15mina away and cabelas about an hour

So as the title says I'm in the hunt for new waders for upcoming winter, early spring. Long story short too many holes to patch in mine now. So before I go into the wormhole of Google, I thought I'd ask here first. So can anyone recommend a good pair or neoprene waders? Doesn't need to have boots attached, and also trying to keep it to 150$ or less. Also while I think about it,xan anyone recommend a good pair of women's wading boots too?

You and I read the same article. I've searched all over Google and jdm websites to no avail. I'm gonna have to follow this post too ha.
  23. I have the mojo spinning rod in 6'8 m/xf, and it's my first SC rod I can see why they have such a following. It's a great rod even though it says it's for wacky rig. I use it to drag tubes, shakey heads, senkos obviously. I'm thinking about maybe getting the avid x, or the new Tb.
  24. Will do sorry use my phone, but after everyone's input on here. I decided I'll go the kayak route, and add on different propulsion systems if need be. I think the mean time paddling will do just fine.
  25. Haha I know exactly what you mean they fight you like there 5lbs but congrats that's great but I think mainly slightly higher walls I noticed the atak sits extremely low and I understand the reason for it with wind shearing but there are some things in the atak I do like the large hatch thru hall it has
