Honestly the pic makes the fish look skinny, but it's OK because the pic makes me look skinny too! lol I saw a fish jump the day I was there that looked to be around 8+ I am fairly sure it was a bass.

I'd say 7'6''. I'm about to build a Jig rod myself. What blank are you looking at? I fish from a Kayak more than my boat and I find it easier to set the hook on a longer handled rod also.

Sahara, use the other for Jigs.

I went back to the state lake this morning. The morning started off slow. I had a Jig/Rage tied to both rods and for a while I thought I needed to be using something else. But they warmed up to the Jig after a while and it turned out to be a GREAT morning! In between the 2 pounders there were some nice fish. The first 4 pounder. The second 4 pounder And a 6.5 I'm SURE I would have done better if I had one of those Rage hats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It just has a touch of end play, but what do you think it will hurt?

OK, so the bathroom has 10 urinals but has no one in it, I walk in and walk all the way down to the tenth one, Someone else walks in and walks all the way down to the one next to me to go pee. I don't see how anyone would not find this uncomfortable... Maybe a huge fart would teach them a lesson.

Made it to the State lake Today. The water temp was 64* and the bite is picking up a lot. I was there Monday? and the water temp was only 57 but I caught a few. I took the Kayak back Today with 2 rods. Each had a 1/2oz Jig/Rage and I beat up on them pretty good. Nothing big all were 2-3 pounds & most were closer to 2 pounds . I know for a short while I was getting bit or catching a fish on almost every cast before they shut off!.

So from this thread I bet some of you weren't to fond of the communal showers after gym class?

I upgraded the bearings to Boca's over the winter on 4 reels = Core50, 50e, 2005e & TP. Out of the 4 I've only used 1 of the tuned reels the 2005e. I think the bearings freed it up enough I'm using more breaks (3) hopefully once I get used to it I can back it down to 1-2 and actually take more advantage of the upgrades. Btw I normally only had 1 break set on my 50es but set 3-4 on my Core50. I also have the spool set loose enough it has a bit of play side to side.

I killed them Today on a Green/Orange on a Big-O brush jig with some Rage on it!
