After 244 years, Encyclopedia Britannica will stop production of its, well, encyclopedias. They usually print a new set every two years, but 2010's 32-volume set will be its last. It finally occurred to them that people don't really use books for information anymore when they can just Google, Bing or Wikipedia anything they want to know.

Actually, you don't really need a book for ANYTHING anymore, thanks to e-books, Kendles and Nooks. You don't even need to go to the store to buy a Kendle or a nook when you can just order them through Amazon or eBay. And it's not like you need a home computer to order things online because any smartphone has Internet access, and you don't even need the keyboard on your phone because you can just ask it to do whatever you need to do FOR you. This brings us to today's question:

WHAT DO YOU HOLD ONTO THAT YOU KNOW IS OBSOLETE?

An old quantium probe baitcaster. Right now it's on a trigger ice fishing pole and my son parades it around. I also still have a N64 with golden eye ad star fox best games made for the 64. Along with a nintendo and contra. That's all I can really think of I sold my camaro with 383 years ago when gas sky rocketed and tickets got to much to handle to it was fun but obsolete in today's world unless u have a fat checkbook.

Since books are obsolete. My signed Steven King Books, My first edition first and second printing Stephen King books.

My Dads old 8track player and the 8tracks.

Lots of WWII stuff. Including a wehrmact helmet and SS Totenkopf helmet both authentic with certification.

I still play Scrabble with my wife on a Playstation (no number).

Rubber worms. Who needs rubber worms when there are Senkos? HAHAHA j/k

My wife thinks our kitchen is obsolete since she hasn't cooked in 9 years of our marriage.

To some people, cash is obsolete. I know plenty of peeps who never have more than 5 or 10 bucks cash on them. They always use bank carsds.

You can have your Ar-15's, Ak type rifles, anything made by H&K,and double action semi auto handguns. I'll keep my M1 Garands, M1 carbines, M1903 Springfields, and my GI M1911A1's.

You sir have very fine taste in firearms. I'm personally partial to the K98, I LOVE bolt rifles, but would quite enjoy having a M1. It's one of the few rifles I have fired, but never owned.

Casette tapes. I have a tape deck in my car still, so whenever I'm in a goodwill I'll go through the tapes and see if there's anything I like. HAve gotten some pretty good stuff over the years for $0.50-$2.00.

The 03' is basicly the US version of the K98. Your not a Kraut reenactor are you? On top of being a Raiders fan LMAO
