  1. I'd pay $300 for a 300 fish day (without the rig). What a great day!
  2. My mold is a FBW-4-AF it's a 90* mold.
  3. I have some but haven't used them yet. Hope this helps
  4. I finally had a chance to look but couldn't find you. Mine is under Curtis Hood.
  5. Mine are gama 6415 but the gap is only 11/16'' wide. I'd really like a bigger hook.
  6. I just got this mold and am having some trouble finding the hooks like I want. I got a pack of 5/0 hooks but the gap is not near as wide as the gap is on the jigs I normally fish with that are also 5/0 hooks? So what mold do you have and what hooks do you use?
  7. RW, Have you ever used a Lew's TP? I find them to be a great reel that can be had for around $160. I have to say I like them as well as my Core.
  8. I like the rear drag location but I won't buy a reel that has the rear drag due in part to the extra bulk on the rear of the reel.
  9. I think it was some of the Blue ones that had problems not the Green ones.
  10. I'd like to see those pics what's your name on FB? I am getting a jig mold Tomorrow!
  11. I haven't seen a bad one in a while. Just look and see if the guides are lined up.And move somewhere that has Lew's reels ! ASP
  12. You can tell the new guys by how they wave, for example the roads around Sturgis. The new "bikers" still want to wave? Everyone is on a bike stop it!
  13. The only thing you need behind a jig is a Rage Crawl or Lobster! Once you get good with a jig simply throw out the other trailers that don't say Rage.
  14. Then a Rage rod and a Lew's Tournament pro reel is one of my favorite combos.
  15. Do a search for powder paint (for jigs) it's pretty cool stuff and won't chip like paint. I just got a bunch of colors from Ebay for under $3 each shipped. And it has no drying time.
  16. If you really want to catch more fish get off the bank! Buy a Kayak... Any rod will catch fish if you can get to them.
  17. I have one of the Crank bait rods, you won't be disappointed.
  18. By now I hope my rods went to a good home and I'll probably never see them again so I broke down and bought another 7'11 Rage Today.
  19. That sounds like fun but I'm back to my busy season and have to to work in the morning. Good luck and make it a 50+ fish day. BTW the last few times I've been to the state lake the fishing was a bit off for me. I still managed to get a 4.5# for FOTD but not a lot of other big fish. The grass/moss is really starting to grow fast giving them some cover and moving them from my normal hot spots... & I've also caught a lot of them right on the bank but my 6-8' deep fish aren't there. BTW, daylight to 9-10 am is by far the best times to fish that lake IMHO.
  20. Largemouth bass are moderately abundant in the lake. Anglers will find fair numbers of bass that are 9-12 inches with fish 15-19 inches occurring occasionally. Fishing spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and soft plastics around timber, emergent vegetation, and submerged weed edges should result in success for bass anglers. 15-19 OCCASIONALLY???
  21. Same thing happened to me, The other day I was ready to give up and go home so I reeled my jig in like a swim jig ready to leave and BAM, fish of the day. If you listen they will talk.
  22. Your killing me, I can't wait.
