Used it yesterday, did not catch anything. I did have about 5 blowups from various things in the time I did use it, miss bass strikes, small fish and turtles. It walks great and the rattle is loud. Will try again today, great for 3.99

Picked up 2 of them today. Cant wait to use them tomorrow...maybe even this evening. Not a bad looking lure for 3.99. They are much slimmer than I thought they would be. Hopefully they walk well. Much less expensive than the 35- 50+ dollar Moreau Rebel Frog Moreau
  3. What rod brand, length and action would/did you choose for an all purpose application? Reel and ratio? line? Interested to see what you would choose or use
  4. They seemed very nice in person, they greeted me politely. They had 3 sizes on display and 3 total. The med light rod felt like a feather
  5. The employee at BPS had no idea what I was talking about lol. Now he knows about them
  6. I saw a kid on youtube showing off his broken Veritas and someone from Abu reached out to him and replaced it free of charge How are the microguide versions if anyone knows, no hijack
  7. Saw on the BPS site- other new stuff added as well Dual-helical bias 30 ton plus graphite blank Unsanded blank for maximum strength retention Airweight resin-filled blank Fuji® Alconite® micro guides The sleek, super-strong, and extra-light Wild Black rods now feature the elimination of decorative coatings, plus new assembly systems for a total of 8 grams removed—resulting in a 10% overall reduction in weight. For even more efficiency, the labels have been moved to the handle blank! The dual-helical bias 30 ton plus graphite blank gives maximum sensitivity and unparalleled balance; the blank is also unsanded for maximum strength retention, and filled with an airweight resin that has three-times the modulus of the coating. Fuji® Alconite® micro guides are spaced for the most efficient casts and a profound sense of feel.

  13. Sounds like I must then create one, thanks
  14. Just interested. Rather than clicking every reel on tackle warehouse, bps or going to manufacturer sites. Thanks
  15. Picked up this reel at Dick's today...not bought, messed with the display Reel was light and smooth, Pickedup a revo after and it felt like a brick. I was amazed how nice this reel felt
  16. ot the new extreme is on the site and it has a DBS and is 7.2 oz down from 8.6/8 79.99
  17. I prefer lefty reels but I can use either. I may pick up the 7 ratio version in righty since thats the only one they sell in that ratio. We will see what happens at xmas time, I may get both
  18. You can probably find a citica for a little more($75) as I did. Check in the market/ebay or get something from bps(lots of deals) I bought a pinnacle from Walmart to start out. I spent more time clearing backlashes and birds nests than fishing some days. My advice, spend a little more and enjoy more time fishing. I thought Id start cheap and learn to fish one, spinning reel yes, baitcast reels maybe not(especially for lighter baits).
  19. Do you like the Carbonlite reels alot? Im in the market for a new reel and I may pick one of these up and possibly the regular one for my friend

  21. Cell phone with front cam is what I do
  22. I dont have too many fishing buddies and we're not really competitive. Im usually happy when someone catches something....as long as we dont get skunked. I know people who are so competitive with other things its annoying, ala keeping up with the jones's syndrome
