Fish are still biting you just have to be patient. Caught this little guy Sunday slowly crawling a tube up the banks of the creek. It's not fun fishing but they still bite. Im Ready for the jerk bait bite!

. Allen I have been beating the banks. Haven't got this years stickers for the boat yet. I just got home from the river a bit ago and I'm pretty ticked, I lost another musky 40+ inches after about a 15 min fight. The musky brushed up against something along the shore line and I just felt it threw the line and snagged I was. I have been tying different styles of hair jigs and I have found one the muskys can't resist. 4 total so far this month and of course I only have landed the smallest one.

Other than cold weather there is hope in sight. I caught a small large mouth out of the big slack section of the river yesterday. I was kinda surprised how tight it was holding to the bank and inhale the tube on its initial drop before it made it to the bottom. Looks like this year we are a couple week late because of the cold weather but when it happens the bite will be good.

I went sat and Sunday. Saturday I was there with my woman about 10.30 to 11:30 and on Sunday I was there by myself 9:30 to almost 12. Picked up some goodies. If I knew you were gonna be there I would have stuck around to introduce myself. I went Sunday to actually meet 2 other guys I met on Instagram from the middle town area. This year we need to have a meet and great BBQ somewhere so we all can meet everyone. You pick up anything at the expo Sean.

I caught one smallie after the fishing expo on Sunday. There cold, use scent and slow presentation and cross your fingers. Went to the hot wall Monday after the sun went down and caught a hand full of goggle eye. It's to dam cold now. Hopping to fish the st. Judes tourney and four locks coming up.

Allen what goods you gonna have?

I wish I knew the exact weight my scale batteries were dead witch sucks. But at least I threw him on the rule. It's amazing how wide and tall the smallies get. Pictures never put things into real life perspective. I'll keel this competition in mind for my future catches.

Don't know what this competition is all about but here is my 22 inch smallie I caught nov.6 at the Susquehanna river. It's also my personal best. Hit a few other hogs that day.

Allen that's great. Showing that video sparked my memory. First day at the Susquehanna I ran into the owner of rock proof boats and got him to take me for a ride on the RiverRocket. Those boats are unreal it's the ultimate river boat if your dealing with rocks. Speed, agility, spacious deck space think i need to buy one.

First time taking my boat to that location. Second day my neighbor showed me what way to run the river but I cut to the wrong side of the island and found a rock with the jet shoe. Took a little chunk off but it's still good. Pay to play I guess.

Two others for yesterday.

Went back to Susquehanna yesterday. Over 20 boats in the water but that didnt stop those smallies from feeding. Between my partner and I we boated over 50 fish. Not only did we catch a good bit we caught some toads and I caught my personal best a 22 incher.

Anyone still fishing? It's been dead for a while in this forum. I Went up to fort hunter today and whacked over 30 smallies didn't get there until about 10:30 fished till about 3:00. The bite is awesome. If you never been to the Susquehanna you need to get up there this time a year. Didn't catch any hogs but here are two nice ones.

I'll have to check the paper when I get home.

Yea river bottom. Water was on the rise barley in the yellow when I put in and in the red when I took out. The creek was raging mud and trees but the rest of the river was just stained. Ran up to the dam and floated down to the railroad piers. Picked lots of grass of my baits today the boat looks like I'm ready to duck hunt now. Lol

I get out myself but there wasn't a break in the rain. Got soaked but put two decent ones in the live well. Hit 2 on a lipless and the two better ones on a war eagle screaming eagle spinner.

The bite has been allitle tough for me lately. Went out of shepardstown this morning and caught a few by sight fishing. Caught a couple on tube then a few on senko few on a grub and so on. Lots of fish in the water just haven't found that bait or color that really gets them going. Anyone else fishing the river? Whats it been like for you? Seen two footballs today that had me trolling around at a distance leading them with lures but no luck. I'm sure this wacky weather isn't helping either.

Fort hunter launch for Statue of Liberty that place fills up wit boats around November when the fish are stacked up. Goldsboro is ok for a prop boat.
