you are exactly right........ if we are going to call spades, spades, then let it be. but who is going to call out snoop dog, Sharpton, or Jackson or anyone else ??????? Sharpton spouts off about how Sterling has this long history of this...... then why is Sharpton speaking at the conference as sterling, greeting him with open arms???? Sterling is not the problem.....the media and how it wants to portray everything is.

what I don't get is where Magic Johnson thinks he gets off??????? Really dude?? you are SOOOOO upset by words? Ditto........except I am not playing devils advocate. addition thoughts of mine: the players are a bunch of hypocrites..... they are not offended, they are sellouts. If they are really offended and truly people of principle they would quit and REALLY make a stand ............... of course they cant cause they signed up for this LONG time ago and they are into for the money. all players black, white, otherwise are compromised, and lets not mince words here, sports in general IS the modern day slave trade, whether you want to admit it or not.

I just go to Pickwick and you don't have to have a radio in your boat........ there are enough pleasure boats circling so you get to hear an eclectic mix of music!

wow, another Bill Dance thread. here is some of Dance info for you. 1. Bill does fish private ponds, truth.....though way back when he did film shows here locally at some local lakes. more than one show was filmed Horseshoe Lake, about 30 minutes from my house and other MS River oxbows. 2. Bill won couple tournaments back to back and qualified for classic multiple times.... He KNOWS how to fish, period. 3. Rumor says ole Bill got caught cheating and was forced to retire from tourament fishing......so the story goes by some of the old timers around here 4. Bill is ALWAYS eager to talk fishing, I met him more than once. Will always help, and talk to you like he knows you. 5. Bill owns several lakes he fishes as well 6. Known as a bass fishermen.... but HE LOVES to catfish! 7. he actaully started Strike King with a friend and had to drop his half since all his time was devoted to the trails at the time.

this weekend on Pickwick it was shakeyheads and senkos........... with more current I will be switching to a jig. hoping the current turns bite on and concentrates the fish more, as it should.

I have seen that one Kent, and there is somethign I dont like about it...... I dont know what exactly, but it is something, so I am looking for other options. I think the main thing is I feel like I might not have room to write for whatever reason. Its probably just me by me.

I have deemed this year the year of "lessons learned" and the year of "doing it right" (or trying to) lets talk about how YOU keep your fishing journal, log, whatever you call it. what all do you list in it? how much detail? what are the parameters you find important to list? the more I fish the more I see the importance of having one.
