I think they were trying as a capital case so we shall see. During the bond hearing (I think, don't quote me) the judge saw that the guy didn't have a lawyer present so the judge rescheduled. Which makes me HOPE he had counsel present at the confession, if not the confession probably wont be allowed at trial and the POS will walk.....

I didn't see anything you said being misspoken. I think everyone wants the people who need, helped. But when you roll up to the WIC store/wal mart with an EBT card/pay $8 in rent driving an Escalade, talking on an Iphone, wearing the newest Nikes you either: A. don't need help B. don't need help that's who I have/am rail on See it everyday here. In fact, I have had people (long time ago) come ask for a job and I tell them I am full, they straight out say "I aint wantin no job anyway." They were just looking for their weekly contact. Root Beer, I agree with that...... it is simply amazing the amount of people that scheme and plot to take advantage. How these people justify taking something that is not their's as being right is beyond me. I dont care if it is a "normal " oerson on the street, welfare fraud, or a major, nationwide business firm. Somehow we have to steer ourselves back to knowing right from wrong, and its going to be a long, windy road for many people. I will say, money is not the root of all evil, but the LOVE/LUST for money is.

I hear ya speed...... I can call what I see, and yeah I see it all the time in the store.... but thats not my only opinion forming factor. and I agree with the "biching" part of it too, but we are in "everything else" and its good healthy conversation......does noone talk about the "world" while fishing? You and I agree on more than we disagree on, I would lay money on it. Opinions will always vary and I get that....... what yall see up north is totally different than what we see down south, and vice versa. I am hip to that Speedbead........I would venture to say, even wager to say not one person that was cleaning out that wal mart was " legitimate". i say that because people that NEED it, tend to have more pride than people who make a run on store because they think they can get away with it. IMO, and others opinions may vary. My issue is always the 2nd , 3rd, 4th, 5th generation welfare queens that never had a job and cheat the system. I tend to have a bit of experience myself due to location, and seeing it every trip to a store in general. I totally want the people that truly need help to get it. I want them to get it so they can go out, pull themselves up and move on in life. NOT to be mired down in a system that is rigged to keep you hooked.

this issue with that plan is ...........many of those people get more in tax returns than they paid in.......so who's money is REALLY paying it back? I wont really speculate how/who will be paying it back, as I am sure more news will be coming out on it.

about as over the top as you calling people "self-righteous" spades are always spades with me, no matter, who, where, how, or issue...... and that my friend, is not being self righteous, it called doing the right thing.

that person has already spent their future assistance by their stealing spree. this event happened Sunday I believe. Funds are deposited the 4th and 14th. Sunday was the 13th... so for them to have so little on their card, they spent this months already and/or were outright stealing $700+ so next months is already spent.......simple math really. Hell, I don't know if I spend $700 on month on food and I eat out multiple times everyday! NOBODY should have to recoup/pay for this except the people who STOLE the food/items/products.

so the woman that walked out with $700+ of pork and other meats, even though she had 49 cents on her card was correct in doing so? she "needed" it right? IMO, with $700+ worth, I think she is good for a few months.

JFranco- I like you and I don't want to be offensive to you or anyone else. I know too many people that work at Wal-Mart in my tri state area, many at stores that were affected by the "glitch". So I will stand by my animal comment. Animals act like this......... one person got away with it and called in the herd for the slaughter, when the gig was up they left their full buggies laying like carcasses and scattered like roaches in the light. I don't want to get warning points or much worse, banned.........so maybe we should just lock it up, cause I ain't so sure I cant continue to call it what it is.

I know otherwise, for fact, not hearsay.
