  1. Nice meeting you too! Can't make it tomorrow, but give me a shout next time. It was a good day on the river, caught quite a few fish on hollow body frogs, with the biggest being 5 lbs 11 oz.
  2. I went last weekend, caught them on 7.5" Culprit worms in junebug, and one on a junebug Gambler 5" flappn tail worm. Here's the biggest from last weekend I might be out there Monday if I don't head to Lake Thonotosassa.
  3. I have a few of the 7' 6" MH Veritas. I have used them for up to 1 oz flipping and they work great. In my opinion, anything over 1 oz you should step up to the 7' 11" H, which is what I use for punching with a 1 to 1.5 oz. They're a versatile rod. I have one set up for toads, one for soft swimbaits, and one for flipping.

  5. I only use Elite Tungsten I have been thinking about trying these since they're cheap, but I really like black weights. http://www.honeyholetackle.com/apps/webstore/
  6. They're building one in Tampa too.
  7. That's about the going price for them now. I remember seeing them on sale somewhere for $80 new a while back, but they're all bought up now and the price actually went up on them. I see them selling for more than that used all the time. Everyone misses the E series.

  14. I use Veritas and love 'em, I think it's about as good as any $100 rod is going to get.
  15. I got the navionics app for my phone after seeing FD's. It's a great app, worth every penny and then some

  17. All my rods but my cranking setups have braid. That being said, the only non-braid I use is YoZuri Hybrid.

  19. Gold black back
  20. Never heard of anyone having problems with salt, I go down to the dam past 40th street, which I guess you could say is the line since you can't go any further. My boat is salt friendly, but like I said I've never heard of any problems and see bass boats that far down almost every time I'm there. As long as the water is up you'll be fine at Riverhills. Just have to back in a little further than other ramps since it's not steep. My dad launches his boat there all the time with a stock F150 with no problems.
  21. I was on the river last Saturday and it was up almost as high as it gets. I put in at Riverhills.
  22. You'll love the Chronarch. I have a few and they're great reels.
  23. Yes thats the Spro lipless crank. Soft swim baits, and I can't remember what Lee was flipping with but I caught my fish flipping a junebug lizard with a chartreuse tail
